i've just found out my birth parents weren't who i thought they were.

 

Wait, whats the difference between a cup and a mug? A mug has to be ceramicy and cups can be plastic or paper, right? But sometimes the ceramic ones are cups...when the mood takes you...

thanks. i always knew that i was adopted and that my 'real' parents didnt want me, but it seems that what i was told about them isnt even true. i thought they were egyptian but now i have been told that my dad was a jew from israel.

Strangely it hasnt affected me too much, my parents will always be the ones who brought me up and i was raised in egypt and that is what i know

 

i dont know much about it, i think they werent married and were living in egypt so thought it best to get rid of me. they are not the best parents though so im happy that i was adopted. strange though that now i have a whole other side that i didnt know about, might have to explore israel now.

 

I know what you mean, I dont put too much into the whole biological family stuff, my family are the people who are there and thats that...but I know a lot of people are really into it and believe its made them who they are and all that stuff. My mums always going on about distant relatives from generations way back like they were a huge part of who I am, and theyre just not. Still a bit of a bummer

 

same here, my family are people around me and my best friends. apprently though my real father was a singer, i might look him up but i dont know if i really want to. i really want to go back to egypt now and see my daddy
