Aw thanx guys :grouphug: We should have known she probably wouldnt make it...she was discarded in a terrible state by some lovely specimen of humanity and never really got out of being runty and funny looking

She was only a few months old and all our others have lived past a year so far so I know its just because of where she came from and being a runt

I hope it doesnt sound silly and she was just a mouse but she was a sweet friend and the others are missing her too. People underestimate mice

 

Aw, Verseau, I'm sorry to hear that. I love mice - they're smart and really affectionate, and when you build little palaces for them out of toilet paper rolls they actually appreciate it and scuttle all over them. I think they're terrific animals.

It sounds like you made her last days as nice as they could be, so you should feel happy.

She was a clever thing...after it happened twice she firgured out where I put the food in and at what time and she be waiting there with her little mouth tipped up ready to get all the goodies every bedtime. If I was late shed just wait there

Theyre definitely the best small pet weve had. We had bunnies and guinea pigs who were cool, but so much work and vets bills and they never really liked us that much after all that! I miss them but dont miss all the hassle. Mice are happy if you want to leave them a week or if you want to pick them up everyday. I like that

 

it definatley doesnt sound silly. i cry wen any of my fish die and fret over them like a woman demented. wen my dogs die i think i will be inconsolable.

I like to know people's ages and locations when I see 'em on here, but you know what I like even more? Knowing their gender. It sucks for me when I can't tell whether I should flirt with someone or not. Very confusing.
