I just sent George a voic recording on MSN and he it's cute cos he 'didn't expect me to sound like that'. How an earth did he expect me to sound? Actually I prolly sound a bit posher than my class status...

 

I wonder if I sound how people imagine I sound. How do you imagine I sound? Hmm

Only when Im either really tired or getting angry or flustered I think anyway. Ive become much more Englishy these last few years. It was a very conscious choice to do so. Now I sound southern I think, but not cockney or cornish and I dont say barth or grarse

Yeah moon, I know But I dont say OOOUP and "'ere, ayoop, you gooin off darn fookin taarn tnite?" which I may well have ended up doing if it werent for the fact I had a pretty isolated childhood and my best friend was my well spoken mummy. So Im thankful for what little Ive got
