    Who heres?
    I couldnt even get a tan in Cuba. That ridiculous kind of skin that doesnt burn, doesnt tan, doesnt do bloody nowt

    Hmm, today I've eaten:
    Little trifle for breakfast
    2 caramel squares bars, chips and 3 quorn nuggets
    tomato and mozzarella pasta thingy for dinner
    Cold chocolate pudding
    can of coke
    most of a packet of disgusting crisps
    A fox's classic

    Can't seem to satisfy my hunger atm, I'm too picky about the food we have in the house just before the weekly shop :(

    You realise the only real food there was the pasta thingy:Dhehe. Not realy, sounds ok. Hmm I had

    A grapefuit and a banana with lemon water for pre breakfast
    A bowl of cereal for actual breakfast (am I the only person who has 2 breakfasts about 20 minutes apart?)
    Potato rostis, onion rings and a big salad with just about everything salady for lunch
    A big choc chip cookie
    Pasta tomatoey thingy for dinner (snaps!) with 4 giant poppadoms!
    2 bowls of cereal and a tangerine for supper

    Phew

    Sounds yummy!

    My mum has two breakfasts, she eats some cereal, goes to do some housework (at 6:30am) then makes some toast and marmalade before we come traipsing downstairs and eat random weird food (me and Luiza don't really like breakfast food in the morning so my mum says we can have whatever as long as we eat something!)

    Ill let you into a secret...sometimes I have 3:eek:haha. Mornings my eaty time...Id like to say I wind down gradually after that, but not really true. Today was a light eaty day as shopping day is tomorrow

    Never had trifle for breakfast though! My mum was always trying to feed me even though I eat like a hippo. I think she wanted me to put weight on, but I just never do

    Marmalade is nice. I havent eaten it in years

    I don't put on weight, I've weighed around 7st since August 2007, and I was 6 1/2st for 2 years prior to that (I ate a lot during my GCSE summer). I do usually eat a bit better than I dis today! My mum and my sisters have exactly the same metabolism as me, except they're all giants with bigger feet!

    Some peoples bodies just run like ours do. It has got better...like you I was under 7st at one point under my BMI thingy, despite living in France at the time and having heaps of food shoved in my face literally every hour. Im happy with myself now, its just what I am. Better enjoy it while it lasts really! I havent weighed myself in ages though so I dont know how much I weigh. Id guess about 7st9 7st10? Who knows, or cares. Feeling good and thats what matters

    Psh, lucky.. even when i eat like I'm anorexic I still pack on the weight :(
    Today I've had:
    Toast with vegan spread
    Houmous & red pepper sandwich (only veggie thing in the uni cafe, heh)
    Half a reheated pizza
    Packet of skittles
    And a litre of Polish Red Bull knockoff so about 320mg of caffeine in the last hour or so :eek:

    Weight gain/loss doesn't have as much to do with resting metabolism as is commonly believed; your basal metabolic rate may be slightly higher than average if you have a high proportion of muscle mass rather than fat but aside from medical conditions it's almost always simply a question of balancing calories in and calories out. For the same proportion of muscle mass, the larger person will actually have a higher metabolism. People who put on weight easily just tend to eat more and move less than those who don't, even though they might not think it...

    Jon if you like, Ill keep a diary of my food intake/activity and send you pictures of my body (ooer:p) Hehe. Believe me it wouldnt all fit together without something else going on. Ok so I dont eat a heap of saturated fat, but I eat a lot and Im not exactly very active. I suppose activity would help me gain muscle weight but still, I should have a lot more podge weight really

    I was actually much more underweight as a meat/animal product eater too, and Id have been getting more fats there

    But heh maybe some people just spend their whole LIVES eating (Or going to macdonalds) They must do if youre right!

    Im not underweight anyway. I did my BMI thingy and they say its 20:cool: Doesnt mean shit to me but I guess thats what the doctors go on

    Im under weght on my bmi thing, but i think i wud look weird if i was any bigger than i am. im naturally boney :)

    Yep:eek: It's also what you eat, you can have tons of certain fruits and vegetables and still not get as many calories as you would from a single cake or chocolate bar... It's not even a question of eating fats, proteins or sugars, this averages out because the body converts fats into sugars and vice versa as need be. (Calories in) minus (calories out including basal metabolism) = weight gain. There's no more mystery to it than that, the process is very well understood: a 3500 kcal surplus equates to 1lb in stored fat.
