I'm so so so annoyed, my midterm report came through the same day my mum came in early and I hadn't woken up

And she told me to 'get studying' when I have bugger all work to do!

For what little it's worth:

1 ) everyone thinks this when they're at this stage. The fact that you think you're failing life, is probably proof that your swimming along quite healthily. Pay no mind to reports, they don't know the future any more than you do.

2 ) Clearing is made to sound like they put all the "unwanted" courses into a huuuuge tumble dryer and pick them out at random and you'll end up doing Iron Board Cover Repair Studies.
Actually, just because they do use a tuble dryer, doesn't mean the courses are bad. There are plenty of good degrees at nice unis that come through clearing, so don't panic dude.
