The October Surprise

I think we will see something so extreme as to be beyond belief. So low-down dirty that none of us are likely to even imagine it. With Rove at the helm, you can be sure it will be extreme. A forged grainy video of Kerry raping a little boy, or planting a half million doses of LSD on his person- something. Something EXTREME.

Would Bush arrange to have Kerry assassinated? I absolutely positively guarantee that they're missing no opportunity to do it. Kerry must have some extremely good protection, or they would have offed him already.

We could also see another 9/11 type of attack. It's not like there's any risk involved for people that might try it. Do you know what the penalty is for trying to bring a gun onto a plane? It's a mere $100 fine, and normally no time in jail. Oh, I'm completely sure they'll try something, alright, something much too dirty for any of us to dream up.

 

I figured something woulda happened by now, but it is only the beginning of the month. I wouldn't be surprised if either of the candidates would have assassination attempts against them.

I realise our nation has been undergoing a systemic dumbing down for more than a generation and that our armed services are bastions for the academic failures of our public education system, but one can hardly call the previous post "long as hell and heavily worded", unless one's reading level was arrested at perhaps middle school.

You wouldnt know me nor would you know "who i work with" since 1. I am an independent consultant working freelance for numerous NGO's, think tanks, and international agencies as contracts for reports are put up for tender. And 2, I wouldnt compromise client confidentiality by declaring my associations on a public forum.

As for whom I have had the displeasure of sitting round the table with in the past four years, these would include people in the news such as Tom Ridge, Asa Hutchinson, our beleagured and essentially disgraced Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright (another onerous figure in her own right), Hans Blix, to name a few.

As for changing things, well that isnt going to happen until our nation wakes up and decides to hold its elected leaders accountable for their lies as it certainly does not have any appearance of doing so currently. So be it, let the nation get the leadership it deserves and when the criminals have utterly bankrupted us, perhaps then the right wing will crawl back under the rock from whence it emerged and progressives like myself will have an opportunity to make a difference.

For now, its your day and Im content to watch you and those you bow down to so unquestioningly squander it. Patience is soemthing I have in abundance.

Get over yourself man. Yeah he may have joined the military on his own, but he is far from brainwashed, he is far from unquestioning, he is far from programmed. He is not one of "the lesser educated". He just doesn't swallow everything that's fed to him without thinking about it and questioning it first. Oh yes, that's right, I went there. He understands that our country does some incredibly dubious and stupid things and has done so for many years. He understands that politicians are notorious for their lies and such. But he's not going to take everything you and other conspiracy theorists say without looking into it and finding out if there's anything substantial to it first. Durr...it's called being intelligent. He refutes, he plays devil's advocate. He even asked me for more evidence when I told him about the "Extrordinary Rendition" issue I found out about. And when I found more substantial evidence and pointed him in that direction, he checked into it and found it to be enough, then he actually wrote to his representative like I suggested. So he does not think the government is this almighty wonderful entity that merits no questioning. He just demands some SUBSTANTIAL proof. So..yeah..get over yourself and try putting out some proof like that for your claims.

 

Closed minded is not recognising the glaring alarm signals of criminal takeover and the collapse of checks and balances that has occurred with the ascension of this administration. To suggest that making every effort to snap you out of your smug routine denials of laughably visible systemic corruption and the inevitable cessation of constitutional protections is "closed minded" shows serious character and judgement flaws in you that are frankly terrifying. For anyone who truly loves the nation as opposed to the flag wavers who claim to (whilst endorsing the continuing status quo) recognising the real threat at home would never be called "closed minded".

I have submitted lengthy analyses in several threads in the past only to receive repeated clear denials or diversionary questions which have been the stock in trade of the head in sand crowd for years now. The very fact that the term "conspiracy theory" is so fashionable is precisely because of the mainstream groupthink so effectively established by a global media (which of course is subsequently perceived as liberal even though it has long ceased to actually investigate but merely regurgitate the utterances of our leaders) that ultimately our leaders are Americans and wouldnt harm harm their own citizens.

I have no problem putting the time into lengthy exposes such as balbus has most recently made some effort in doing, but again in witnessing the clear denials of verifiable documented reliaty and understanding of the geo-political links which are crucial to understanding our national policy direction (which go back decades) which Balbus has repeatedly received tends to dampen any interest one might have to do more than state their views and let those who have ears to hear, hear.

When the shit hits the fan, alot of people will wish they had heard. And im talking man made events here, nothing apocoplyptic about it.
