Many people feel threatened by esoteric religion but I will bet most of them have no idea how much it has shaped the history of this nation. Horowitz does a good job explaining just how much an influence alternative religion has had on the USA: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kY65YCJTTIk&feature=youtube_gdata My question is why isn't this sort of thing found in public school history books?
There are mostly benign reasons this stuff is not in text books. But, could you summarize the video as I don't have time to watch the whole thing right now. I have been interested in this stuff for about 40 years, ever since I ran into Robert Hieronimus, the original researcher in this area, and sent for some stuff he had out at the time, but haven't followed it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vdWrtkJEEo"]Robert Hieronimus - Symbolism of America Seeing Eye 1 - YouTube Above is an introduction to him where he explains some of his early research and involvement with various rock bands. This is only 15 minutes, and is part 1.
Horowitz mainly deals with esoteric thought and how many politicians, social reformers and "secret societies" have been influenced by the occult. He does not go into black magick or into the intricate details of certain secret orders but it is an enlightening interview that is worth the time.
