Things look rather different today with all these fema camps, coffins, and military posted in the states. This is a progression of what happened in the 20's, not a repeat.

The Great Depression was used to greatly increase the size of government and usher in the welfare state to manage (not help) the people, which has gotten us to where we are today. The New Deal actually prolonged the Depression and made it worse.

But you're right, money robbed from the people and given to the corporations is not socialism. It's fascism. The bailout will not result in socialism, but rather is just an extension of the fascism which began in the 1930s (though I believe socialism and fascism are very closely related).

    - Curtis Dall, FDR's son-in-law as quoted in his book, My Exploited Father-in-Law

I have on question... If these "groups" are so dangerous, and think nothing of murdering anyone who gets in their way, or tries to expose them....How come the makers of this movie are still alive??

I sensed lots of alternative propaganda when I watched this show.

And propaganda is propaganda, even if it is trying to expose propaganda. :ack2:

^bill cooper died for his cause. Possibly my fave research started on the topic of aliens ended his life with the NWO stageing an attack on the towers in sep 2001 of course when he said this it was 1998 and he was killed by a deputy serving a warrant in 2000 unfortunate really. If you expose the truths they will kill you alex jones is sensationalistic and mixes the lies with the truth

EDIT: there are rumors that jones is a well placed disinformation agent mixing truth with fiction. Creating the overall look and feel of a crazy conspiracy theorist

Yes, and Bill Cooper exposed Alex Jones as a sensationalist fearmonger back in early 2000, after Jones was spreading fear over Y2K. I am sure Jones would not be out there talking about this stuff if they didn't want him to. It's just that he presents the information in such a way that he manages to discredit himself in the eyes of so many people based on his demeanor alone, so he is hardly considered a real threat as he manages to pigeonhole himself as the archetypal crazed conspiracy nut. He has also become quite the sell out in recent years, not only with the constant promotion of his merchandise, but his numerous appearances in the mainstream media. If Jones was such a threat, there is no way they'd be giving him airtime to express his views. If anything, they are putting Jones out there to make people who research and discuss certain topics appear to be crazy by associating these views with people like Alex Jones.

Also, Jones doesn't even give his audience the big picture. He throws in a lot of nonsense to throw people off with all this hype concerning Ron Paul and the founding fathers. All this neo-patriotic stuff is garbage and just another religion to keep people thinking inside the box. It goes a lot deeper than Jones would have you believe. Jones is just barely scratching the surface.

The thing is, they cannot simply go around and knock people off because that would look even more obvious. All they can really do is try to discredit people that speak the truth and marginalize them as nuts. Jones pretty much marginalizes himself.

At the same time, Jones at least does give some truth, which is more than can be said for 99.9% of the big names on the radio today. The problem is when a person doesn't do their own research and simply takes what any one person says as gospel. I have been researching this stuff for years, so I know when somebody like Jones is trying to hide information. I am able to separate the wheat from the chaff.

I agreed with everything I saw in that video man, and I think it was all well founded. Fuck Obama as far as I'm concerned. This Establishment has been riding the people's asses for decades, and it's time for it to stop. Not that I think it will, too many damn sheeple actin' like roadblocks, they make better doors than they do windows. This government is so obviously slippin' into Socialism, and we're still just sleepin' away. It's time to stand up for our liberty....

And why would that be a bad thing?

To me the US could do with a lot more left wing policies (as would the UK).

A bit of wealth distribution downward wouldn’t go amiss.

No. Capitalism does. Socialism re-distributes wealth from the bottoms up in a more balanced way.

Socialism is basically the transitional phase between capitalism and communism, man. While it itself may not be as bad as communism it is still far from democracy. Socialism advocates control of everything by the government. In socialism there are two basic groups, the reformists and the revolutionaries. The two differing views basically are: nationalization of the means of production, distribution, and exchange; others advocate state control of capital within the framework of a market economy. Personally I don't want the government controling my entire life, in socialism you have begun to go away from personal freedom, and moved more towards national totalitarianism. If our nation continues down the road the Establishment has set out for it, we will become socialists. Then as time progresses and people more like Stalin or Hitler come into power we will reach totalitarianism. The problem with socialism is simply that it takes the power away from the people, and gives it all to the government.

Its proponents claim it does. Really all it does is increase the power of the state and its control over the people by robbing indepedent wealth, almost always under the pretense of "helping" the people. In reality, socialism creates the poverty that fuels the need in people to have to turn to the government to be their daddy, run their life, wipe their butts, and give them all their goodies. If one does not understand the Hegelian dialectic, then they probably won't understand socialism and will just continue believing that all government is good and only exists to help the "poor, pathetic masses," who are too "genetically inferior" to help themselves (as the ruling elite believe).

What we have today is a combination of corporatism and socialism. At the top, government is dominated by the corporations and private bankers to the extent that there is really no longer any distinction between the two. However, to better manage the herd, you must socialize the government and create the economic turmoil that causes people to turn to government as their savior. The corporations and bankers are bankrupting this country so they can socialize everything and basically manage every single facet of your life.

the government is corrupt. we all can see how that is a possiblity. the only way we can change this is voting for who we think isnt corrput like ron paul for example. but anyone with the power to be president will use the power how they please.

Syndical Socialism doesn't advocate the control of everything by the government.

Socialism is the middle path between Capitalism and Communism, it's the blending of both ideologies.

Hahaha. I love it though, people act as if Socialism is the gateway drug to Capitalism or Communism. And that's just pretty funny. :D

Corrupt governments run by bankers, corporate elites and their unelected bureaucrats, do not distribute money downward to those who need it. They distribute it to themselves, who then determine how that money will be spent, usually doling out only the remaining crumbs to the people as they drastically increase their own power.

The US and other Western nations have been moving in a consistently "left" wing direction for the past 50-60 years. Government has been becoming bigger, and at the same time more people are living in poverty, crime is higher than ever, and people have less freedom than ever before. It's not because of so-called capitalism or the laughable notion that were are moving in a "right-leaning" direction, as you would claim. (That would entail SMALLER government and the preservation -- not destruction -- of individual freedoms and liberties, which is exactly the OPPOSITE of what we are witnessing now.) It's because we are moving in the direction of socialism, particulaly socialism that is administered by a corporate/banker controlled government that exists soley for its own interests.
