    Gave me chills, but an interesting watch.. we watched the 4 episodes is 2 days.. has anyone else seen this? I couldn't sleep lol

    From what I understand Richard Ramirez was dropped on head once too often as a kid, and part of the brain which is responsible for empathy, the anterior insular cortex, was permanently damaged and
    the result was a sociopath - end of story.

    I think there were more factors contributing to it. He was tied to a cross and left outside overnight and other abusive behaviors were done to him. He also watched his cousin blow someone's head off in front of him after being shown graphic photos from his time at war. I think that just MIGHT have played a role, as well.

    Don't think it was any one singular thing that created the "Night Stalker" but compounded events coupled with predisposition creating a perfect storm
