At the moment I am pretty sure that I am in the early stages of appendicitis. I was woken up last evening around 5:00 by a nagging, dull but burning pain in my stomach. At first I figured I just needed to use the bathroom, but to no avail as the pain continued throughout the evening. While the pain was not excruciating, it was enough to have me feeling really uncomfortable and it made going back to sleep impossible . So being off from work last night, I ran out to the store around 12:30 to get some Pepto Bismol, thinking it was possibly indigestion. It seemed to have helped at first, though only very slightly....
