LOL I can certainly sympathize with your political nihilism, and can justify the reasoning with your resentment toward both sides. I've always been a fan of your posts regarding your political distrust of all politicians too. Yes indeed, there's lots of cronyism that takes place on both sides, and much of the time the division is all smoke and mirrors. I was like you for a very long time, and thought voting for politicians was beneath me. I didn't register to vote until 3 years after I was legally old enough to do so. I suppose the reason I've become a fan of the likes of Shapiro and Milo is because we are seeing a huge fascist uprising from the establishment left, and much of the establishment right of the Bush years is dying off (thank god for that). Social justice barbarians who have the support of academia and the media, are using brute force to silence opposition; they're also destroying people's careers by slandering them as racists without any justification. For example, they have used their journalistic powers and death threats to shut down a burrito vendor business owned by white girls because they though it was wrong for white people to cook and serve burritos because it was cultural appropriation, a worse crime than littering in the minds of these psychos. As long as that's going on, I'm going to stand against that in this culture war.
As a white male, Im sorry but you need to start your posts with "as a white male" or whatever you are and i would ask everyone else to do the same or else youre basically passively approving nazism.
A conspiracy involves two or more individuals agreeing to collude (in secret) against another. So let's look at your conspiracies: The patriarchy. What patriarchy? Are you alluding to a government run by a single father figure or a male dominated government. Or are you referring to government at all? Second what "lefties' are advancing this conspiracy? Lastly, what exactly is the conspiracy? white men are evil Is that it? A statement? How does that rise to the level of a conspiracy? Trump is a Nazi Another statement? How does that rise to the level of a conspiracy? White supremacists are as common as white bread See above.
I just wanna know where you guys come across these "white men are evil" people I've never came across one. But I have came across plenty who speak of their existence.
When it was Clinton/Lewinsky, all the left could say was It was consensual It had nothing to do with his ability to run the country. It was a Right Wing attempt to take down a president they didn't like. It's a matter that only he and Hillary need to work out in private. Etc etc etc. We can take the exact same above list, change the name to Trump and add that it took place 10 years before he took office and we are told this time it's a scandalous event. *YAWN* Nah they aren't hypocrites at all.
Its mostly about insecure white men in my experience, and even then it is usually specific enough not to be racist or some exaggerated stereotype and actually makes sense. That's why the appropriation of the word 'snowflakes' also makes sense: it fits better in the new context. That these insecure white men may be called evil by some unnuanced libtards suits the insecure white male and its defenders/sympathisants greatly, so it is magnified by them and overly focussed upon, and then naturally projected on the more reasonable peeps that adequately defines and criticizes the insecure white male. It's their usual tactic to deal with such criticism: take the most ludicrous/extreme sounding remarks and act like they all think like that.
I've been accused being against strong women simply because I am male. I kindly informed that person that I voted for a Jewish woman for president. I've also been accused of being privileged because I'm white.
By one person? So what? Its not an accusation. Maybe it was formulated as such, or in response to some other remark, otherwise I don't see why you see it as such.
People just need to get to know each other more and stop categorizing so much. One of the reasons I stopped listening to NPR is that they are constantly putting people into categories. Then you see the world as this group or that group.
Agreed wholeheartly It seems though that a lot of people don't really want to know people of which they're sure they're against the things they themselves value. Or, if they know and it doesn't suit them at all, they don't want others to know what these people with different mindsets really are about. And therefor prefer to just stereotype and discredit them or the group they fit in, to make it look to everyone else they're nonsensical and should not be taken seriously.
Don't take it personally. They call everyone the same or similar. If you didn't like Obama, you're racist. If you support the Republican agenda, you're racist. It's a worn out attempt to keep everyone from the opposing view from talking about the problems. They figure if they shout it loud enough they will drown out facts.
^ You're talking about one kind of political affiliated people. I hope you acknowledge there are at least as much right leaning people making themselves guilty of the same dubious practices?
There is no conspiracy regarding Blump. Those who value this country---want him out. He, being rude, a liar, an admitted pervert, a crook, a philanderer, a sociopath,if not a psychopath is setting the tone for millions of citizens to become outright rude, call names, lie, and somehow actually admire the fuckin' crook. And to compare OBAMA --a gentleman--an extremely educated gentleman at that--a very decent family man, a man that meant well and was stymied at every turn by the god- damned republicans, is STUPID--RIDICULOUS AND FLAT out wrong. You people that like and admire Blump really need to raise your standards. They are as low as standards can be.
