The New And Improved, What Are/ Have You Been Doing Today.

i have heard literally nothing but a giant list of problems from mac owners, a lot to do with the screens and various other paraphernalia in the hardware section, but also everything has to be hidden away to look sexy, its not, you cant bloody find anything ever, there simple to the point of over complication and they crash all the time, at least PC's accept that shit can go wrong sometimes, Mac people have none of it.

and in other news i just had a nap and it was awesome

 

Each to their own then (although I'd love to hear the time argument). As I said, no problems whatsoever with my Mac so far, also never have problems with finding stuff, but that might be just me. I'm not a Mac worshipper and not a big technology geek either, but this computer works for me perfectly and so I am very happy with it.

I am starving and there is no food in the house. A great excuse to stop reading forums and take a break to go outside. Love having proper excuses, so I don't need to do my work.

 

I've never owned a mac, or ever used one. I bought a windows laptop instead of a mac one because I had used linux before and I found it confusing, and I was told that the mac operating system was similar to linux. I'm not mac crazy, I just think they look pretty When buying my laptop 3 years ago I was told that macs are over-priced for what they are. So meh ^^ I do know how to use a computer, so my windows never has any problems Lawls.

Trying to organise what the fuck I'm supposed to be doing with regards to my degree. I'm up-to-date with 1 module as far as I can tell, although there seems to be an awful lot for me to do between now and the 12th of feb so I'm wondering if the pacing is a bit off. And I've got a maths module that officially starts on the 22nd of jan But I've got a few hundred pages of revision material that I'm supposed to have done over the last month or so before I even start (this is reflected in the fact that I have 2 assignments due in before the 2nd of feb) so I think I'm going to be spending the next 4 days cramming maths back into my head so I don't fall behind and / or miss hand-in dates.

At uni today. No glass, and can't think of anything to do in my sketchbooks so I've bought my laptop to the studio (the desk at home is shit) and lo, there's a protest outside. Horns and drums. Shit. But my tutor said there will be glass this afternoon so weeee ^^

and unmotivated at the same time
pf I just want to start uni soon so I can get my degree and then leave!

 

Coyotes in the city trip me out... I spotted one at 1am today as I was getting off the bus. It was trying to dig somthing up in the dirt between a gas station and juvenile hall. They live in the canyon and then venture into the surrounds at night...

What I really want to know is, are they traveling coyotes or some kind of inbred coyote dynasty that has been living here for years? Is their a coyote re-establishment program going on that I'm not aware of? Where the fuck did these scruffy guys come from? Did they hitch here on the highway? WTF?

In extremely related news there is some fucker breaking into cars on my road pretty fucking regularly, I've riveted some metal bars across the back windows of the van today to keep the fuckers out. My brother reckons someone tried to pry his window open last night just to make things worse.

Remember the days when the police used to look at patterns of crime like this and do some nice proactive policing, rather than waiting on the end of a phone line to give you a crime number and tell you there is nothing they can do about it.

 

We've had some break ins around my road. And I know exactly why. The fuckers down the road leave their car open, literally, sliding doors on it wide open, all fucking day. Sat nav on view. Then act concerned when someone pops their head in and twocs their stuff. It's like leaving your rubbish around in plain sight, it attracts street rats.

 

No one breaks into people's shit, here.
