Communism wasn't bad or creating useless jobs wasn't bad?

 

I always end up with a ridiculously old bagger when I only have one item but the person in front of me will have an endless supply of stuff and it takes forever.

Communism as ideology isn't bad at all, it's the people who ruin it.

 

But you know, I do slightly fear a day when all the jobs are taken by robots. I say any job with an actual person in it has value of keeping us one step ahead of the Terminators.

 

Look at the bright side. If robots take over all jobs we can spend all time doing leisurely things. It will be paradise.

 

I'll get a job fixing robots.

 

See that's how it should be. But I can also picture a rather dystopic version where a small amount of people own the robots, get all the rewards, and create a welfare state for the rest of humanity, where like Lodog says, we're all servicing robots. :biggrin:
