Yea. You didn't get mad or defensive. I don't think mad parents are frightened by you and the though of what their children might become. You look and sound respectable. It wasn't a fair forum, but you presented a good counterpoint.
That was painful to watch. The propaganda and editting of your debate was so blatantly obvious, yet you still managed to bring a strong argument in salvia's cause- amazing, and thank you! No matter what you said, that audience wasn't going to support salvia, but I guarantee you have cheers from all of us at home who you represented! Can't thank you enough!
Anytime you get a big group of people together especially in the public eye they are going to be anti-drug to save face. Privately I bet many of them wanted to try it or had tried it already. The ones that demonize it based solely on what they hear on the show are morons though.
...and I hate that b*tch by the way. Just another annoying hostess, and she's not even very good. Of course I'd still hit it
That kids trip and thoughts on it do point to intelligence. From people I've had try salvia or have done it with I notice a trend of intelligence and insight plays a major role on the depth of the trip. Also, his pre-suicide notes are much of what we hear from many suicidal teens. This dreaded realization that we're little and meaningless and therefore our life is. (why do we need to be the center of the galaxy, isn't it ok to be meaningless and enjoy life from our own perspective?). I think when one sees something so big, vast, something that makes the boundaries and reality we've sensed all this time in our life seem so small, it makes one feel insignificant and pointless. However while we've been trained to think we're a little meaningless piece of something that timeless and large, I think that enormous, daunting space salvia takes us to is ourselves. That limitless expanse that makes time and space pointless is you, you're that big and your conscious is all that potential and omnipresence and you're the center of it then and there. Or at least you're a part of it. To deem yourself pointless and kill yourself because you feel small and insignificant is as senseless as cutting your own pinky off because your body's much greater.
I am currently waiting for my first order of Salvia from Kali. I happened to see this AFTER I ordered. The thing I see is this: People are NOT doing any research for themselves!!! I think we all know how things can quickly be distorted from......100% education from word-of-mouth. Especially with the young. I researched for quite a long time, before my decision was made to order. I do not regret placing my order & to be honest, can't wait to use RESPONSIBLY. Having that 19 year old talking, is like swimming with rocks in your pockets. I think that show was obviously BS----Not going to comment any further on the show. Once again Frank, THANK YOU, & looking forward to getting my order.
if they really cared about "protecting their kids" they should have been doing a special on alcohol. honestly i felt you guys did a good job.
I can't believe that they've used all of those tricks... They tried to put doctors on to make them sound more convincing. I don't even think the doctors said good points themselves. Also, the lawyer said something stupid too "Well, it's been flying under the radar"... Nice going man, your voice was definately heard.
OMG dude im sorry you had to deal with those total morons who have no clue what the fuck they are talking about. so fucking stupid. Pinning that guy's suicide on salvia, when totally sober ppl kill themselves everyday. They didn't even give you a fair chance.
I'm glad it was you frank that went to represent the salvia community. everyone there could tell that you weren't some "drug dealer* who didn't no anything about what he was talking about. i agree with fieldsr on how that dumb biatch kept interrupting you every time you made sense and proved that lame ass doctor wrong. I'll definitely try my best to help you out and spread the word.. more importantly the TRUTH.. keep on fighting frank and god bless peace!!
We need to keep our great salvia legal. It is an amazing mind opening drug. And im tired of everything being made illegal at the first signs of abuse. I know people who got wasted at the age of 10. And achohal is illegal, tilling thosands. SAVE SALVIA
For those of you who don't already know, Frank was involved in a bad accident. He is improving thogh, and we hope to hear from him soon. Check the stickied threads in this forum.
frank you should make a youtube video yourself of the whole ordeal and show how they didnt even give you a chance to speak.. that'll show how biased those mofos are. expose their ass!hope you recover man
Typical... Same reaction you get when talking to even the most open minded people about medical marijuana... "But it's a drug." So, what? Prescription pills are drugs too! "It can be abused" Yeah, so can the millions of prescription drugs on the market, as well as alcohol and tobacco. "It's not like beer at all" No, it's not and that's a bad comparison on that idiot's part. Just goes to show how stupid most frat kids are... Time and time again, they prove that stereotype to be true. "We don't need a drug to be spiritual and go out and lead our lives." Okey dokey doctor. Whatever you say. I guess we'll take all people on pain meds off their pills. We'll take everybody with a mental illness off their pills. How about transplant patients who needs meds to keep them alive? Well, those are drugs too, so I guess millions of people have to die because we don't need drugs to live our lives. How about cancer patients? I guess they all have to die too. What a moron. Then they'll say "Well, those aren't that kind of drug." Looky here. Surprise! They all fall under the definition of the word "drug". They can ALL be abused, and many drugs are illegal without prescription. So, you can't have a double standard. Also, once again, set, and setting. What's going to happen if a depressed, angry person with a horrible mindset takes half a sheet of blotters worth of acid? They're going to go batshit fucking crazy because that's way too much. What's going to happen to somebody who does waaaaaay too much salvia at once in a bad mindset regardless of whether or not they've been told how to use it responsibly? Same damn thing. What's going to happen if somebody who's never smoked a cigarette before smokes a whole pack in an hour or two? They're gonna have the day from hell. It's that way with any drug, legal or no. As to the kid who comitted suicide: Common sense says, if you use a substance and it makes you feel depressed, maybe you should STOP USING IT! Now, don't jump on me about weapons, I'm making a point, I don't want to start another debate here. Guns don't kill people. People who misuse guns kill people, and people who are ignorant about them wind up killing people. Drugs don't kill people. Lack of knowledge and irresponsible use kill people. I know a guy who does cocaine almost regularly. He has no problems whatsoever. He also uses shrooms and smokes pot. He does all of this responsibly, knowing the possible effects and how to deal with them if anything bad should arise. That, as opposed to somebody who knows jack shit about any of it and dives in head first. Irresponsible use is the number one cause of problems and deaths from drug use, not the use itself. Until the brainwashed masses think for themselves and realize that, we will never win. Edit: If scheduled substances are illegal because they can have "bad effects" and we don't need them, then alcohol and tobacco ought to be punishable by death, because more people die from them each year than any other substance. The marijuana smoker who didn't hurt anybody gets several years in jail for smoking a harmless plant. Salvia users are demonized for what they choose to do. Yet, the drunk driver who plows into a car full of kids and kills them all gets less time than the man that smoked a harmless plant. I don't condone tobacco, but that's being demonized too. Smokers are losing their rights, yet alcoholics aren't getting their balls busted as much. Higher tax on smoking because it's "so dangerous" but no extra penalties for alcohol. What a big fucking surprise. I don't have a problem with drinking responsibly but there are so many people who don't drink responsibly... It's nowhere near fair...
What a bunch of assholes on that show... you were doing amazing and they wouldn't even let you say a damn word.
