The mindset of UC Santa Barbara shooter due to failure with women.

It's scary to know that if I meet a guy that believes girls only date assholes, that he possibly will kill people in the future.

I wonder what the girls who think that guys only date bitches will do, considering shootings, as far as media coverage goes, only is carried out by men.

 

Based on former posters here, and on this particular shooter's whining, it is the idea that girls don't take personality into account because the shooter demonstrated a lot of self-centered egoist behavior, that many would say is jackass behavior, that girls still weren't drawn too.

So even in the negative sense, this logically means that whatever girls are looking for when they take personality into account is much more detail specific than a broad label of "jerk" or "nice" guy.


And guys seem to be stuck with vague descriptors when they complain that "jerk guys" get all the success.

That's my point, personality does matter.

 

Females tend to be actually less direct but no less threatening when they seek revenge.

But when pushed into a corner they do go all physical fight mode when they've exhausted all cunning options.

 

Well, like I said... I don't agree with your thoughts that such guys or girls are more likely to become violent, but I'll bite. Maybe the girls who are like this are the types to fake pregnancy or get in physical fights with girls. Or the women who are overactive when it comes to sex or they don't have sex at all. I don't know, it's interesting to think about the connections.

Oh, yea... like the cases of female murderers. I totally forgot about that. I was thinking more, "I'm going to fake a pregnancy to keep my man" or "Bitch, I will cut you if you get up on my man, ugly slut"

There is a legal record, in this country, and in foreign countries like India, where women have cut off the genitals of a man when they were jilted or felt jilted and thus went all vigilante on their partner. It happens.

 

So, the moral of this thread is to run away if there is a guy that believes girls only date assholes or if there is a girl that believes guys only date bitches. And if you are that person, you'e screwed, no matter how good looking you look because you have a severely messed up personality.

On a side note I noticed my username is misspelled when you quoted me and I would appreciate a correction.

You can also interpret this as a huge indicator and incentive to change your personality, through behavior seminars, discipline, swallowing ego and pride.

All paths the shooter could have benefitted from, instead of CHOOSING the path he did.

You cannot blame everything he did on his biological mental illness, but also by his rational choices. Others should learn from the options he did not take.

That is the moral of this post.

We're on our own here. The mental health system is broken for civilians and military alike. Luck a' the draw. Wrong place, wrong time--innocents will die. And Monk--I don't think in all cases a mentally ill person CAN see alternative paths besides the one/s they're obsessed with.

 

Agreed. That's why the law needs to recognize special cases where mental illness and the lack of sound judgement Usurps the persons individual constitutional rights, in those cases only. Problem is everyone is afraid of making a policy that does such because they buy into slipper-slope fallacies.

And the reason I brought this topic up is because it's the average citizen that is gonna shape whatever potential changes to mental health reform when it does eventually happen.


Average citizens must get involved in the lobbying process rather than just lobbyists that have official job titles, and the citizens need to have smart cogent argumentation skills on their side.

Forums are a good training ground for that.

 

I am not a woman but I do not think this guy was good looking.



This guy was not handsome -- maybe handsome for a serial killer.

Nevertheless, if he had a healthy mentality and was a decent human being he might have attracted a girl.

In the end, he is where he belongs, rotting in the proverbial hell.

For reference this is a handsome man but I am biased as a football fan and cannot speak for women's tastes.
