On August 4, 2019 in Dayton, Ohio, some knucklehead opened fire with an AR-15. He was shot and killed by police in 32 seconds. In those 32 seconds, he shot 26 people. Nobody in any modern civilized society needs to have that degree of lethality at his fingertips.
So, what does America do? Pass a confiscation law through Congress and declare a date to hand all the guns in? How do you think that would go?
If the police were in attendance when the guy opened fire, why did he live long enough to kill so many?
You can pass laws, you can confiscate guns and you can have the best security force, you cannot protect yourself from crazy.

I totally agree with you. I’m a gun owner. I never seen the need for armor pearling bullets, bump stocks or huge magazines.
