The Middle Fingerrrrr!!

Do you ever use it? I rarely ever use it out of anger- usually show it in a joking manner with my friends if they are picking on me, but like I said, all in good fun.

Tell me situations where you actually flipped someone off, or seen someone do it, or maybe someone did it to you.

Also, I know there’s different ways to give folks the finger- post them here, so that HF members can see the various methods and possibly use them

 

My late uncle did this every time i tried to take his photo.
He had a sense of humour.

 

I never really use it or see much of a point in using it. Nor any point in getting upset over a finger.

 

I've definitely flipped people off in the car before.
I try not to because this is america and you can get shot for that
But road rage gets the best of me sometimes.

 

I middle fingered once when I was about 20...............person that assaulted me........never again.

 

It doesn’t really offend me, I think it’s actually funny

 

Did they assault you BECAUSE you gave them the finger?

I middle finger the TV quite often. Generally political ads.

 

I pissed a guy off one time that was flipping me off in traffic. He did this as he passed me, and instead of returning the finger, I waved at him. He slowed down, beeped his horn to make sure I was looking, and flipped me off again, holding it up as high as he could. I laughed and waved again and could tell he was getting furious

 

I flipped someone off a couple days ago while driving. My heart wasn't in it but I knew he deserved it.

 

I don't usually flip the bird as what i call it. It's not really appropriate. Yeah it's funny when it happens when somebody doesn't want their pic taken.
But if they were to flip me off and then tell me where to go rudely that can cause issues.

 

They should pull their head in.

 

My wife painted a red heart on my right middle finger because I always stuck my finger up at her. so yes it gets used a lot and then she painted a diamond on the left middle finger.

 

yeah it does seem a little outdated now. i've done a road rage finger a handful of times, but i don't think any of them have been that recent. these days it's basically just something i throw out as a joke between coworkers.
