The Lord of the Flies

My little brother had to do it for English and I stole his copy, and thought it was pretty good. Was quite enlightening to have all his scribbles in the margin too, to tell me what people think the book is about. I say think, I reckon most books are way over-analysed but hey, it keeps people busy.

Loved TKAM btw, was crying at the end

 

I love this book, especially after analysis etc. It's just so clever.

 

I didn't read the whole thread, so I don't know if someone mentioned this, but Lord of the Flies isn't really a children's book. It's a book about children, but it was clearly written for adults.
