Anyone else play The Last of Us? I'm actually kind of new to gaming. My boyfriend is ass deep in to gaming and I try to get into the things he likes. So, I've already played and beat BioShock Infinite and loved the story line. One night when I was up watching Toonami on Adult Swim I saw them mention The Last of Us and I wanted to play it. I heard it had one of the best story lines and so far it does. Complete mind fuck in the beginning and really sad. Anyway, I'm just really new to the shooters scene and my boyfriend goes batshit crazy when I do something wrong. Sometimes I only end p spinning around in circles and he yells at me. Ugh. I get better the more practice I have but I get embarrassed playing in front of my boyfriend who has had 12 years more experience than I have. So, any tips for a girl who wants to finish playing the Last of Us without looking like a total ass in front of her pro gamer boyfriend?
The fact that you are playing is probably enough for him. I know I personally don't care if my gf is good at games (it is just a game) I care about her effort to share in my interests. Are you playing shooters online? People get more serious about that. But the only way to get better is practice.
I usted to play Duke Nukem , but thats old now . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BD3VJGDqphM"]Duke Nukem theme Megadeth - YouTube
last of us is a good game .. holy shit, but if youre looking to spend time with him .. maybe play more co-op based games. Like idk .. gears , cod , castle crashers , even fable. thats more xbox though .. ps3 idk .. i only played solo games on that.
Awesome game!!! I used to play 1, 2, 3D... I even played Forever start to finish and enjoyed it lol It doesn't have much to do with The Last Of Us though... xD I had no idea the theme was by Megadeth
The Last of Us is imo one of the greatest single player of all time. Really gotta be stealthy at some points to make the story feel realistic tho. Which I LOVE since Hitman is one of my favorite franchise games. As far as storylines go, I really liked Portal 2 as well. It has 2 player too! AWESOME abstract storyline, it's a first-person shooter, but no guns. You get a portal gun and figure out mind-bending puzzles. As far as getting your game on, just keep practicing! Immerse yourself in the game, I'm sure it will get easier with time. The Last of Us does have a bit of a learning curve tho if you're a beginning gamer. Complex controls and such. Little Big Planet is a fun game too for multiplayer!
If your boyfriend is yelling at you while you play video games, then I think there are more profound questions you should be asking like why he shows such irreverence towards you, when you are clearly trying to bond with him by taking an interest in his hobby. My honest tip is to drop him and finish this game autonomously. I absolutely love The Last of US. I have completed the game twice already, and I look forward to playing it again someday. I think this game is among the most intelligent stories in games that has ever been told.
That's the one I played. The graphics are a big improvement over the PS3 especially if you have a good TV.
Yeah, I heard! And the original was already impressive. But since I don't have a playstation anyway I aim to play it on the next gen later on
The Last of Us, oh man, possibly one of the best games ever created imo. There's a lot of styles of games out there, and few compare to the novel quality of Last of Us. The director takes an approach where there isn't much freedom as to what you do or see, you're suppose to see everything you come across. It's more like a book or movie than a game you fuck around in. But I still place it as one of the best ever made. Especially if you get a copy on the PS4, you'll really see what it has to offer.
