I only watched the beginning of this one, then I decided it was time for bed. It was starting to look like it might be pretty dumb. This guy gets out of jail and clearly needs some kind of therapy. He's yelling at his girlfriend and his mom.. wants a beer or something, and is basically a degenerate. I don't even know what happens, but that was the first 5 minutes. Maybe I should have given it more of a chance, but I guess I just expected more from Gerard Butler.

    The Perfect Storm (2000)

Living here in New England I remember the real Perfect Storm back in October of 1991 and it was incredible.

    The Trouble with Harry

A really nice little comedy movie by Alfred Hitchcock that involves Harry....the trouble is Harry is dead.
I'm sure no one will take the time to watch this, so I'll tell you all about it.

"The Beaver", Jerry Mathis, is out for a walk when he discovers a dead body. Edmund Gwenn (Santa Claus) is out hunting and thinks he shot him. So he sets out to hide the body. But Mildred Natwick shows up and catches him, so he swears her to secrecy. Then a tramp wonders by and steals Harry's shoes and the local doctor trips over Harry's feet without seeing him.
Next, John Forsythe, a local artist, arrives and decides to draw a picture of the dead Harry, but then The Beaver brings his mother out to see the body. His mother, Shirley McClaine, says he is better off dead and leaves.

So now Forsythe and Gwenn bury the body.
But later Forsythe finds out that Harry is McClaine's husband and she hit him on the head earlier. So they figure Gwenn is in the clear and they dig Harry back up to see if he has a bullet wound.
But...then when they don't find a bullet wound they feel sorry for McClaine and rebury Harry.
Meanwhile, Mildred gets a guilty conscious because she hit Harry in the head with her boot and she figures she killed him. She wants him dug back up and turned over to the police.
So they dig him back up.
Then they rebury him again... I forget why.

Eventually they decide to dig him back up because they all figure they can talk their way out of his murder, so they're going to turn him over to the police. But by now he looks kinda bad from all the burying and digging up so they decide to clean him and his clothes up.

Around this time the local sheriff finds Harry's shoes and discovers the drawing Forsythe made and gets suspicious.

In the end The Beaver thinks yesterday is today, or tomorrow, or something like that......and it all works out!!!!

    Judge Dredd

The most memorable line to me was, "emotions?? there should be a law against them" :p
was this "prepare to be judged" even in the movie? haha (good movie, even if it was meant for young boys :p)[IMG]?

Side note: They're working on a Judge Dredd TV series.

I don't know whether or not to be excited about it...

Only Hollywood would take a hideous movie and make it into a TV series

Miss Peregrine's Home for Particular Children

Not up to Tim Burton standard. To many plot holes.
