I started watching this documentary series on Netflix called the Pyramid Code. Its a trip. I hope I can finish all of it before they remove it; not sure what they're taking off in March

The Last Picture Show. B&W, 1971. (Randy Quade and Jeff Bridges couldn't have been more than 18 or 20.)

Another good B&W is Paper Moon.

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986)

I felt like watching this tonight because of Leonard Nimoy's passing. It was his movie. He wrote the story and it was the second one he directed. It was purposely light and I believe one of the most popular Trek movies.

I enjoyed the Director's Feature where Nimoy gave behind the scene info on the movie as well as a quick review of his beginnings in Hollywood and his involvement with Star Trek.

    The Interview. It sucked, ridiculous.

But I highly recommend Bubba Ho-Tep. Was quirky, funny....I loved it.

I watched Bubba Ho-tep just after I enjoyed Evil dead 2 and Army of darkness a lot, so I hoped that one with Bruce Campbell would be equally funny. I think this was the main reason Bubba Ho-tep dissappointed me overall. But yes, it was quirky. Why does that movie (still) has it's own website? Isn't at least a decade old already? :p Compared to Evil dead it isn't legendary or cult at all (imo)

Maybe try this one instead: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0870111/

    Moonrise Kingdom.

Great film, looks good (as was expected from Wes Anderson), lots of big actors, understated, but funny too.

I still haven't seen Bubba Ho-Tep, I've seen all the Evil Deads and read Bruce Cambell's: If Chins Could Kill book, very good! But he only mentioned it once during the book, sounds quirky, but I don't like getting disappointed.

    Interstellar.

    Can't say I'd recommend it.
