Acrimony ...umm....It was good, but the ending got a bit far fetched. It felt like a comedy at times, but with tragic moments. Sad moments. It's categorized as a thriller, but I don't think I'd call it that.

I like Shailene Woodley lately. This movie was a little offbeat and a little slow, but I find the concept that Miles Teller is something of a party guy and is influencing the innocent female intriguing. It reminds me of missteps of my youth.

"The China Syndrome"(1979) in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the movie’s release and coincidentally enough the 40th Anniversary of the Incident at Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Plant in PA

The incident at TMI almost exactly mirrored the fictional account in the movie when a minor malfunction triggered a series of automated responses in the reactor's coolant system, including the opening of a relief valve on top of the pressurizer to relieve pressure.

The relief valve fails to close automatically when the pressure drops. Control room operators misread the situation, and mistakenly believe coolant is being pumped into the system. Meanwhile, the valve remains open as precious reactor coolant spews out.

That had to be so cool and informative with a President who had a degree in Nuclear engineering.

While I was too young to remember the incident at TMI, I do remember the nuclear accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear Complex
and followed every step of the recovery efforts.
