Horror is my favorite film genre and I watch it more than any other. The last one I watched was Two Moons. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3037322/
The last horror movie I watched was "House at the End of the Street" with Jennifer Lawrence. It wasn't very good. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1582507/?ref_=rvi_tt
Hmm maybe the Insidious flicks. Not that scary though, the whole going into a dream kinda ruined the suspense.
I saw that. I was hoping they'd focus on the nursing students rather than the beginning of it all, which I'm not sure has any validity or "based on true events". I'm not too sure.
The last one I saw was "Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon". It wasn't bad. I thought it was kind of a refreshing twist on the standard slasher movie.
The last one I saw was "Carnival of Souls." It's becoming a cult film, I think. It was made in 1962 and is really excellent...some of the stills are just classic. It is to ghouls movies what Night of the Living Dead is to zombies.
I can't watch horror. Can't even stand to ideate people in dire circumstances, blood, gore terror.I can only tolerate to the best of my ability pleasant, peaceful and non-Psychodramatic a sensorial vibe and environment as my means allow.I don't like violence and this includes simulated violence.I'm a complete pansy art-ponce really who lives for the charm and intellectual freedom of blocking out to the best of my ability current affairs of the day, advertising, social trends and preoccupations of real people-I am unreal-and the general cultural ambience of an ever more prevalent mode of being that aspires largely to crass sensationalism, conspicuous displays of power and wealth, and a complete disregard for the gentle and elegant, completely pacifist and culturally alienated ideas obsessed chap who just wants the whole hypnagogic hyperinflated show off once and for all.So I will quietly and speedily depart for the long overdue rendezvous with my imminent yet seemingly eternally suspended murder, with sense of pride and composure of the self-complete man satisfied with a life beyond ambition, hope, interest in the cares and affairs of others who only speak a course alien dialect of the unexamined mind. And so I step out and away from the new youth, the endless din of interchangeable personalities and the obnoxious stench of this world of ruination and self-obsessed real-time horror film that is perhaps the hardest one to endure.I care little for my role in it,other than to say my reputation on this forum shall soon be in tatters,as I vent my spleen on the essential uselessness of all the pseudo hippie bums, and slowly begin to unravel the emptiness at the end of this ball of string.
ohh soo sad to see this http://www.statista.com/statistics/188658/movie-genres-in-north-america-by-box-office-revenue-since-1995/ nobody sees the art in horror movies
Well, that's one way to look at it I suppose. I have to admit I'm not quite sure what you're saying, but I get the fact that you don't like the violence depicted in horror movies. However, they're just movies. It's play acting with makeup and fake blood, and when it's over the villains and victims probably do a high five and go have a beer together.
