Yea, i'm currently tending to his cabana which is housing about 12 nude males in the 45-65 age range, wearing nothing but a Speedo g string.
I am now drinking Jule Mælk by To Øl out of Denmark, an imperial milk stout coming in at a whopping 15% ABV. Pours an opaque pitch black color with an initial 1/8 inch tan head. Aroma is of dark fruits (plum, raisin, fig), roasted malts, chocolate, and some booze. Flavor is sweet upfront with lots of roasted caramel malts and sweet dark fruits, as well as some subtle vanilla and dark chocolate. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy with a low level of carbonation. Overall rating: A
Drinking Trial by Combat from Brewmaster Jack out of Williamsburg, MA. This is a double IPA brewed with passionfruit juice. 8% ABV. Pours a hazy orange color. Aroma is of juicy orange, mango and passionfruit, along with some sweet bready malts. There is some dank earthiness, but overall this is a juice bomb through and through. Flavor mirrors the nose, with again lots of juicy citrus -- namely orange, mango and passionfruit flavors. There is some dank pine resin towards the finish, as well as some sweet, biscuit malts. Mouthfeel is light to medium, smooth, crisp, and very easy drinking. Overall a very nice double IPA Rating: A / A-
Had 077xx from carton last night. One of the better bitter side ipa's I have had. Also had hophunter from Sierra Nevada wasn't enjoying it because I was working and was just sweating and hot. I should have been drinking and ice cold lager.
Drinking shiners coffee beer now. Short review... Good coffee taste light in coffee notes the other tastes remind me of a brown ale.
Drinking Lumen from Grimm Artisanal Ales. This is a New England style IPA made by the NY based husband and wife gypsy brewers, Joe and Lauren Grimm. 6.4% ABV Canning date: 2/2/17 This one is brewed with Citra, Mosaic, Equinox, and El Dorado hops. Pours an incredibly bright orange color with abundant haze and a creamy white head. Very juice-like appearance as characteristic of NE-style IPAs. Aroma is incredibly juicy and brimming with tropical citrus hop aromas. Immediately you get huge notes of mango, as well as some tangerine, pineapple, peach and papaya. There are some nice green earthy notes as well in the background, along with some bready malts. Flavor is very much in line with the nose. This beer is a juice bomb all the way. Medium to low bitterness, but lots of juicy citrus hop flavors consisting of orange, grapefruit, pineapple and peach. The malts provide a nice backdrop for the hops and provide the beer with just the right amount of sweetness to accent those hops. Mouthfeel is smooth, creamy, and with a soft, fine carbonation. The body is high-light to low-medium with a juicy, lingering finish. Overall this is an absolutely incredible beer. Really awesome stuff, and definitely one of my top three Grimm beers to date. Just got back from Swiftwater Brewing here in Rochester. I had a flight of their beers, including three IPAs and one Belgian strong ale. I loved their IPA 16 so much I just had to get an entire 16 oz. glass of it. Just how amazing does this look?? I finished with their blueberry sour. I brought home with me a 32 oz. crowler of the IPA 16, and a newly-released 16.9 oz. bottle of their DIPA Brah Double IPA:
Delaware oyster stout from 16 mile I hate oysters but I have never had a bad oyster stout. Nice sharp flavor. Like a combo of chocolate and coffee stout. Lot of carbonation on the tongue. Not so much in the glass.
I got a little something from here SNOW MELT WINTER ALE A rich malty, deep ruby-red, winter ale, best used for frost removal, holiday toasting, and guaranteed to clear the fog off your glasses. Released with the first snowflakes of the year, and lasting until it all melts in March...or maybe April. Hopefully. 7.0% ABV I like it..
Drinking DIPA, Brah by Swiftwater Brewing Co., a double/imperial IPA. 9.4% ABV Pours a golden orange color with just a slight amount of haze. Aroma is citrus rind (grapefruit, lemon, orange), mango, peach, some floral notes and a bready malt sweetness. The beer's bitterness is matched with a sweet malt backbone which seems to compete with the hops for dominance. I again getting lots of pithy citrus rind, some resinous flavors, and some sweet malts. Mouthfeel is light-medium with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Carbonation level is fairly assertive, but not too much. Overall a bit too sweet for my liking, with a bit too much of a malt influence. Still very decent, however. B+
I have energy drink for some reason, i don't need it, or really want it.. but i'm havin' it i 'spose.
