I just had a whole post a couple words from being finished.
Was going to hit "Post" after about two more words.
And then some shit happened that sent me back a page and now I lost it all.

Recap from what I remember:

Beer good.
Vodka good.
I handle tequila well and am drinking my 5 year aged tequila from Mexico.

I think that was the main points.

Now I'm going outside for a smoke.


While I'm gone, here's something pretty to look at:

I've been there twice.
Once at a pretty decent place and once at an awesome place (honeymoon).

I know it's not "the real" Mexico, but I'm ok with that.
We did end up at a place called "The Gringo's Bar".. or something like that on one trip.
He was from the US and married a Mexican girl and opened a small, street-side bar/restaurant.

But really, just so much awesome food.
One of the best was fresh oysters sold by a guy walking the beach.
He had lime juice and Tabasco and salt.
It was ... *drooool*

And the tequila.
Of course, the tequila.

 

I've been drinking beer again.


But have also had a few sips of tequila.
Because... of course, the tequila.
Namely,

 

you should cehck out san felipe, especially when they are having the baja 250 races. Its a lot of fun.

For breakfast/lunch this morning, my wife made friend egg sandwiches... they included green chilies.
It reminded me of Mexico breakfasts.

I miss the fried cactus leaves with toppings and spicy sauce.
SO. FUCKING. GOOD.

and SO cheap to eat there. i swear some of those people are just liven life by the beach, not a care in thw world. mexico is the only place here i have been given free beer by other people at bars

 

Yeah, the strength of the American dollar makes it really tempting to just spend a lot of time down there, if not just move there.

Between the tequila and the oysters, I'd be in heaven!
