    Hahah... you are funny, rollin.

I am now drinking another beer from Stone, and one I have been wanting to try since it hit the shelves a month or two ago... this is their Mocha IPA -- a double IPA brewed with cacao and coffee.

    9% ABV.

Pours a clear amber-orange color with a two-finger head that subsides to leave a fine lacing on the glass. Lots of earthy, slightly herbal hops, some citrus, pine, coffee and chocolate in the nose, as well as some roasted malts. Lots of coffee, mocha and cocoa powder upfront in the taste, as well as some vanilla. In the middle of the mouth it's lots of earthy and citrus hops. Rather dry in the finish. This is highly drinkable for a 9% ABV beer. The body is light to medium, somewhat dry, and with a moderate level of carbonation.

    Overall rating: A-

At first I thought you were drinking a beer from Clown Shoes out of Massachusetts. Their beers are usually on point.

i mix them up every time i get them on tap. and its one of the better local brews so i get it relatively often. more than once i have had bartenders look at me like i am crazy...meanwhile i am just thinking "you only have one fucking beer with clown in the name, just pour me a pint of it"

Now moving on to a much lighter beer from a brewery I love to hate on the opposite end of the country. This is a beer from Dogfish Head which literally just hit the shelves within the last couple days. It is their Sea Quench Ale, billed as a "session sour." I normally ignore beers from this overhyped, overrated, overpriced brewery, but since I am a fan of sours, I decided to add it to my mix of beers. This one in particular is a gose. It poured a hazy, yellow-straw color into my snifter glass leaving absolutely no head whatsoever. Aroma is of lime, some bready malts, some lactic sourness, and some salt. Taste is sour upfront with lots of lime, as well as some orange and lemon rind coupled with wheat and some cracker malts, salt, and some faint spice (coriander). Body is light with a vibrant carbonation.

Overall this is decent, but falls short for the style. Overall it's way too carbonated and a little too sweet. I have had much better beers of this style.

Now drinking Troegs Hop Knife Harvest Ale IPA. Pours a deep golden amber color with a small white head that fades to leave an abundant lacing. Lots of floral, grassy hops with some juicy citrus (pineapple, mango, orange, lemon) and pine, along with some caramel malts. Taste is of a strong, floral hop bitterness, with a fair amount of citrus and pine hops, with lots of grapefruit, orange and lemon zest, some pepper and toasted, caramel malts. Mouthfeel is medium with a crisp carbonation.

This is a solid IPA but nothing more than that.

This is from Long Trail Brewing Company, from their Smash Project series. This is their single malt (golden promise), single hop (citra) offering. Pours a hazy golden-yellow with a half-finger head. Lots of resiny, earthy grapefruit, orange and lemon rind in the nose with some bready malts. Taste is of fruity and piney hops, with some pepper in the finish, along with some bready, crackery malts and a somewhat herbal presence. Mouthfeel is light to medium with a decent carbonation.

Now I am drinking 'Who You Caliin' WUSSIE' by Arrogant Brewing (aka Stone), a German Pilsner. Pours a hazy, pale yellow color. Aroma is of floral, grassy hops with some sweet, bready malts. Flavor is clean with earthy hops and biscuit malts. Light bodied with medium carbonation.

Drinking Genesee Oktoberfest. This would be considered "cheap" at $8.99 a 12-pack. Despite the cost, it is actually a pretty damn decent Oktoberfest beer. For the price you simply can't go wrong. It's a smooth, easy drinking beer with a nice spicy hop and caramel malt profile. Pretty much what you would expect from any good Oktoberfest beer, but for a fraction of the price.

Gotta play catch-up again, but at least it's still the same page this time!
Before I do that though, I'mma get a review posted. :)

Instead of just one kind of beer tonight, though, I have three different brews to try!
    All pumpkin based!! YES!

I'm drinking them in order of "dinner, dessert, drinks".
(To be fair, the "dinner" selection is only in that spo because it's pumpkin brewed with cranberries.)
    Anyway...

    Dinner first:

    (Alc. 6%)

Smells like: A slightly spiced ale. Perhaps a hint of hay? I don't really smell the pumpkin or the cranberries.

Tastes like: A slightly tart, as well as subdued, spiced pumpkin. At moments it tastes like there's just a little bit of pie crust in there.

Overall, very easy to drink and pleasant. The cranberries don't shine through, but their influence is there, not just in flavor profile, but in color as well... with the brew taking on a slightly reddish tone.

As some of you know, I usually post a NSFW pic with my reviews in a different forum.
Obviously I can't share them here, as per the rules.
    However, tonight, I can!

Not that it makes total sense... but it's close... ish
