sierra nevada otra vez. not very powerful on the booze, but its got a hook me taste. nice summer cooling off beer..
starr hill snow blind doppelbock . drank it out of the bottle, very unlike me when it comes to darker beers. still was above average for the style and one of the styles I like more. chewy and thick and some good chocolate flavor. maybe I am just in the mood but I could drink these all night.
got me some great lakes Chillwave double IPA . not bitter like I was expecting, a few other GL Ive not tried yet, the Turntable .. beer place gave me a great lakes pint glass
Second in the starring hill pack is grateful pale ale. Pretty good. Nice hoppyum flavor but light like a pale ale should be. The neck sticker says "a hop forward session pale ale" and that's exactly what it is. Btw it's 4.7 abv.
Drinking MO Pale Ale from the Maine Beer Company out of Freeport, Maine. This is one of the best pale ales I have had in a long time. Such a fresh, juicy hop flavor to this beer with some grassy, herbal undertones. The aroma is also incredible, as is its cloudy, golden appearance.
Moving on to Rogue 6 Hop IPA, which, ironically, clocks in at 6.66% ABV. The hop flavor of this beer reminds me of Brooklyn's East India Pale Ale, a beer which I have not had in ages. Very nice beer, but not as nice as the aforementioned.
Drinking heavy seas peg leg. One of the more sessionable imperial stouts. Still has lots of big chocolate flavor. Actually very chewy. But I could drink 3 or 4 of them easy. The low 8% abv might had something to do with that.
"See, peasants? I too can pour a fermented wheat and foam beverage and enjoy it like the rest of you humans."
did you see the "i love country music" t-shirt? i might have seen it here i am not sure but anyway it shows a picture of an eye then a heart then hillary then a tree then a tonic (music symbol) it took me about 5 seconds but it was hilarious when i put it all together.
