I thought this was going to be a 2 or 3 beer night.

Turns out it's 1 and done.

    Love y'all.
See ya sooner rather than later, hopefully!

    SURPRISE!
    I"M BACK ALREADY!

I only have two beers to review tonight, but may end up drinking some other shit once they're gone.
    Who knows.
The point is... I'm here and ready to review.

    OH!
ALSO... I started a Kick Box on Twitter: The Kick Box - on Twitter! (<-- click for a magical transport to another Kick dimension!)

    Ok, ok, ok...

    Beer #1:
    (Alc. 9.5%)
(Two Evil - Saigon Scooter Selfie)

Smell: Roasted coffee, dark chocolate, and a distant inkling of raisins. Vanilla lined bready paths, sprinkled with brown sugar, lead the way out.

Taste: Roasted coffee with cream. Hints of raisins in the biscuit body lead to a lip-smacking brown sugary vanilla outro.

Overall, this is a different enough profile from most stouts to make it it's own thing. It's hard to describe, but that vanilla/brown sugar moment at the end is like... like, if you ever smoked clove cigarettes and you had the taste on your lips after taking a drag. like that? That's what the end of this reminds me of, in terms of lip licking leftovers.

    And hey...
I have a pic this time!!

    Anyone want some coffee?

And then it was time for...

    Beer #2:
    (Alc. 13%)
(Fat Orange Cat and Decadent - Baker's Dozen)

Smells: A definite, but subdued, blend of chocolate and chili peppers is tailed by vanilla with a cinnamon undertone. All on what seems to be a biscuity body.

Tastes: Bitter chocolate, tempered with vanilla, guided by cinnamon through a biscuity forest at night, warmed by chili peppers as you exit the stout woods.

Overalls, I'm a little confused. No matter how I try, a lot of flavors are way closer to each other than my Taste review would suggest. This thing is oil thick and tasty, with the warmth mostly on the back end. I don't know... it depends on how much heat you like in your chili pepper beer. It's a little more than I appreciate, but it's not bad either. (I'd probably suggest Saigon Scooter Selfie over Baker's Dozen... maybe.)

(Sorry, I tried to find a good pic. Never got around to one. And I'm not spending all night looking for a pic.)

Also, I'm back for another night of beer.
Not sure how many I'll get to tonight, but I have more than enough!
I just have to figure out which ones I'm going to try tonight.

The first one was already decided though.
    And more than half-way gone.

So, without further ado, the review!

    Beer #1:
    (Alc. 7.2%)
(Fat Orange Cat - All Cats Are Gray in The Dark)

Smell: Soft coffee, cocoa powder, and caramel with hints of white pepper. On a biscuit.

Taste: Cocoa powder, followed by a sustained note of vanilla. An undertone of sweet malt alongside the faint biscuit body.

Overall, I'm not sure what to do with this thing. It seems to get better as I get deeper in the glass, but the cocoa powder flavor always makes me think of old chocolate flavored scratch-n-sniff stickers, or the added flavors of DuClaw beers. There is a definite beer characteristic overlaid on top of the "Taste" description above, but I figure that's usually taken for granted, unless otherwise noted. So, it's not bad, not great.

(Not sure what pic to put with this, so I'm not gonna bother.)

It's like those late night infomercials.

    ---
Do you find traditional strainers lacking?
Are they hard to manage when pouring loose pasta?
Do you find yourself spilling that shit all over the place like there was an earthquake?

Well, try our handy cooking pot with a strainer AS PART OF THE LID!

YES! Now YOU too can strain spaghetti without it ending up all over the kitchen, in your pants, and somehow in the attic!

In other news, I've jumped tracks for this next beer.
    From stout to gose!

    Beer #2:
    (Alc. 10%)
    (Founders - Mas Agave)

Smells - LIME and salt. Faint undercurrent of tequila.

Tastes - Creamy lime with salted tips and lime. Soft tequila undercurrent with lime.

Overalls, LIME! There is SO MUCH lime in this beast, I think I just fell in love. Although, give it a few more sips and the powerful gose style of this brew will probably ask for a break. It's more like key lime pie with a slight bitter backbite than a tequila aged lime gose... or beer. I'm a fiend for lime, so I'm impossibly biased on this one.

And it weren't too hard to find a pic for this brew.
(Although, I feel like I should add a pic to the first beer... maybe another day.)

    anyway,
    here ya go.

And for my final act of the night...

    Beer #3:

    (Alc. 8%)
    (Omnipollo - Vanitas)

Smellin: Citrus and stone fruit step up, with shoes made of sweet pith. A thought of dry hops spread upon a biscuit body. Somewhat tropical and juicy overall.

Tastin: Nectarine and pineapple lead the way along a subdued wheat path. The biscuit body follows with a trace of dry pine echoing in the distance, doubling back on the outro.

Overallin, this is a pleasant brew that's not too sweet. Thick and juicy, the fruity flavors dominate. (Unfortunately, I'm not really detecting the pistachios or almonds that are supposed to be part of this profile. But it's possible they're helping to round out some edges.)

And, um, I found a fitting pic.
    But, I uh...
    I'm not sure I should've.

    Enjoy?

    So, hey there everyone.
Um... looks like I done got myself locked out of Twitter.

If I delete the tweet that got me in trouble, it starts a 12 hour countdown until my account is released from Twitter prison (Twison?).
Instead, I've appealed it, saying that it's not abusive, targeted harassment and that it falls under political speech.

In the meantime, I figured I'd come check in here and show y'all what got me locked out.
(And if you think I even have a leg to stand on.)

This is the tweet I replied to:
    This was my response:

    So, whaddaya think?

I wish it were that easy!
But if that were the case, I'd be fuckin banned every fuckin day!

I'm guessing some Trumper flagged it.
I'm also probably going to just delete it.

I mean, tomorrow is Friday and I'm planning on drinking some new brews.
And how can I have a drinkin night without being able to go be drunk on Twitter?!?
