oh yea! They have a brewery right accross the street from angels abseball stadium. Sometimes we go there before games.
Yup, that's them. They make some very awesome beers. I was fortunate enough to try a few, and everything I had was great.
That would be the only dark beer I drink if I could get it at that price... Local place had it cheaper but it was on a special sale. They don't even carry it anymore.
Drinking Double Dry-Hopped Lumen from Grimm, an IPA. IMO this is a step down from the OG, which was much more juicy. This is more dank and resinous, with a more thin and crisp mouthfeel. It seems more West Coast style than New England like the original. 6.4% ABV 4/5 Compare that to the OG version from February. You can see the difference in appearance. I gave this a 4.75/5
I love Bevmo and Total Wine...they're like theme parks for beer people. You may also want to try Golden Road's Point the Way IPA
I actually have to go to Total Wine today to get a few things. I've tried most of golden roads stuff, me and my buddy sometimes go to their brewery over in the valley. If you live around there you should check it out, it's a cool place.
Yep! It's in the works right now. Right now I am drinking a bit early since it's my day off. I got a six pack of Ballast Point Habanero Sculpin IPA. There is quite a kick to these bad boys.
Funny the conversation went from Golden Road to habanero. Their Pico to Mexico cucumber-lime-habanero lager was my intro to Golden Road.
It's the only habanero-infused beer I've ever had. I liked it as a novelty, but I couldn't imagine drinking it with any regularity. Maybe if I had one to compare it to I'd have a better opinion on it. Maybe I'll try the Ballast Point to I can compare.
I see.. I just finished the Ballast point one and.. I don't really like it. Like yo usaid above definitely not something I would drink often.
Just finished my second one. yuck. Anybody want the rest of these? PR i'll mail them to you for a case of bud light.
