Saw Richard Thompson play tonight.
Usually I find shows where there's one guy singing and playing guitar to be pretty slow, but this was amazing. Dude fills a room just going solo like not many people can.

And that's the first concert I've been to in a while that was satisfying.

fun fun.. both time my former cat gave birth.. i had no idea she was pregnant.. woke up to messes in the morning each time

 

It's easy to tell with this cat, it becomes super affectionate, loves having its belly and sides rubbed, more so the closer to the time...

Normally this cat isn't what you would call 'friendly'. When we got her, she hated everybody and everything, had been kept locked up in an apartment her whole life. When we moved here, she was here for two weeks mostly by herself. She could get in and out of the house, and we were here every couple of days to stay for a night or two and leave food. She became happy, but still doesnt like to be petted or touched very much, but she wont try to eat us now at least...

 

Damn, I already lost my job. lol Three weeks into it. They said it was because of my work ethic, basically. Plus, I came in there the day my mom was released from the hospital after back surgery so I was exhausted and I looked blazed as fuck. I explained the whole back surgery/mom situation, but my work ethic fukt me up. I guess working hard labor in all those warehouses kinda broke me of the fast food industries' work ethic standards. lol Fuck it though......I'm stoned as shit and I have some MXE and 2ce less than 20 feet away from me, so I'm straight. Still gonna look for another job though.

 

if i was a young person i would seriously look into the re cycling and sustainability industry.......

.did you guys know that you can refill a bic disposable lighter....during the civil war in yugoslavia you could get a refill for 2 dollars...or a pound of sugar for 100 dollars...my friend was busted for growing weed outside the compound but because of the war the charges were stayed......they nabbed him 5 years after the war going to visit his parents in serbia

I'm trying to work my way into sustainability, but I haven't decided just how yet. I have a 12 month job now working in nutrition education and I plan to work my way into a grad program that links nutrition education (for the purpose of ending hunger) with sustainable/organic agriculture programs. I want to work to change food policy in this country (in many many ways) and I want to change the subsidy programs we have going that are ineffective and wasting money.

Sustainability is the key to the future.

I'm a fucking liberal who doesn't like any presidential candidates. I want another liberal person on the ballot like McCarthy did to Johnson in the 60's (sorry i just realized you were Canadian, but oh well it's worth writing because i want it to happen!)

gonna watch the Republican presidential debate (IF i can find it streaming live online b/c I don't have cable) so I can hear Perry's true opinion of the EPA and listen to how they want more oil drilling and all this other shit and tax cuts yadda yadda yadda. did they learn nothing from George W.?!?!?!?!
