The IUD - experiences and advice?

Back in the day,I used an IUD and had no problems with it until I went ice skating one night ripped outa my gourd,I must've dislodged it.I was in severe pain,bled like a stuck pig & this was on a Fri. nite,I waited til Mon. to see my gyno.Man,he was so-o cute ! I'd used them for a number of years,had them checked & changed at a clinic(like an oil change,ha!)I tried the pill,never remembered to take them...did the shot,it made me feel jumpy & aggressive.Well,thankfully ALL that has changed with menopause! NO PERIODS,NO CRAMPS! Just a furious hot flash now & then. Peace
