Yeah I happened to pass the ambulance when I left. I stopped and asked how he is doing. They said critical condition.

Fresh bread is awesome. We have a bread maker and the bread that we were making smelled so good and tasted so good but we were never able to slice it properly. We'd end up with big thick pieces of bread and then it was too much bread per slice to really do anything with. It was a shame. Perhaps I should have bought a bread slice too.

you need an electric knife to cut fresh bread like that..
I have a bread maker too, usually I just get the dough at the famous MANCINI bakery here in my hood... Havent made that kinda bread in a while tho. I just throw it in the oven or make the pepperoni bread.

Today/yesterday by when I post this..

I made a really really nice dinner for my folks. I normally like creamy mashed potato but I thought I'd try with sweet potato. I didn't like it as much creamy but it was still nice. I steamed up some carrots and broccoli too and then grilled some pork ribs on the BBQ. They were awesome. So I just had to go for a midnight walk with dog for 90mins so I don't feel bad about eating Xmas lunch today. Though I'm pretty excited for it really, first kind of lunch gathering at our place that isn't friends and drinks and drinking etc. but there'll be drinking!

My parents are finalising their portion of the family farm, umm, selling it basically and I'm going to go in and buy their share. They just don't need it anymore living in Australia, they'd rather the money and travel. So I'm going to end up with their portion. I don't exactly know what that entails as in work wise, I'm hoping to simply pay the uncles out and then that's it, I'll take a far off piece of land I don't need to work on. I don't exactly want to be a farmhand or have to do anything with it.

Mama has a breadmaker, which of course she hasn't used since August when she broke her wrist. I never learned what to do and the instructions disappeared long ago. I would rather cut off my ears and eat them than have to listen to Mama screech and try to tell me how she wants the bread cooked. lol The only kind of bread she would ever cook in it was the most dense, heavy whole wheat bread you've ever seen. So I wasn't that interested in eating that bread. Now we just buy regular 100% whole wheat bread at the store and it is as light and fluffy as a cloud compared to what she was eating. :D

She always used a bread cutting knife (not an electric one) that does cut bread pretty well; but, she actually preferred a very thick slice. I told her several times she could make a whole meal on that thick dense bread (it would be like eating a bread flavored wall)...just throw some beans and broccoli on her plate and she would be full. :D

I remember in woodwork I made these awesome cutting boards for mum and I've always wanted them back. :D they were sort of like an oven mitten shape but had nice wood laminex on them and she always uses them but I'll snag them back when she leaves us. That was the coolest thing I ever made in the woodwork class.

she may find out and bring it over herself...wouldn't you?...if your kid said buddy gave this to me?...you would know and fix the problem....have some faith until there is no faith
