i had my crib quilt my grandmother made up until about a year ago....it got moldy in the basement and was worn down to rags


there was one patch of red velour that was always my favourite spot to touch

 

i have a couple of things from when i was a baby. one was an embroidered precious moments blanket from my great grandmother. i cant imagine pulling them out or messing with them at all. the blanket i always used was a crocheted one, throw size, not baby size. i cut a hole in it to build a fort once. i really need to fix that. i have a small collection of crocheted stuff that needs repairs, i just dont have time and its pretty tedious.

velour is hard to work with. and mold sucks. boo mold.

 

I came back from a 5 ball deficit to have a shot on the 8 but I needed to come off a rail and missed it by a few mm. =[ rattled the jaw.

 

Got a galaxy s6. Only problem so far is remembering all my passwords.

I applied for a couple of jobs this morning. Kind of a weird time of year to be looking for work - I assume that I won't hear back for a few weeks, since it is the holidays and all.

 

it was nice to see everything covered in thin snow today...but tomorrow is going to +10 and chance of thunderstorm

 

It is +11C here today. Gross and rainy. The fluctuating weather is killing my joints and sinuses.

i remember in high school one time this shoplifting guy named keith showed me the cell phone he stole from a store that afternoon

it was over $2000 if i remember right ...it was one of those ones they call a brick now

 

See I just thought the term came from like the "pool". A pool shark. =p

 

There was a guy in HS and he bought a red Ericsson. And man it was a brick. And so lots people teased him a little bit nothing serious but anyway he cut all ties with his friends for that. Must have had some self conscious issues because he's a bodybuilder now.
