I asked him if it would be safe and he was like "yeah".

Whatever happened to the "plug and play" logic. Just shove it in the hole, plug it in and shit works. :)

Yes, we will be fine. He may have to go to the hardware store for a double nipple connector tomorrow.

If this was an electric range, we'd be set.

I mean, the gas line is long enough if the stove is close to the wall. He might have to lay on top of the stove to screw the line onto the gas.

There ya go... Seriously though, the line shouldn't be spliced. Nor should it be overly long.

We will try it from the top.

He is so frustrated that he needed me to think of drilling a pilot hole instead of trying to screw a long, wiggly screw straight into the bottom of the hard cabinet.

    We're a pair.

Oh, and as soon as I get the first screw into the damn hood, the drill needs to be charged, lol

That's always the way. I have two batteries for my drill but after not using them for months they're always dead when I need to. Lol.

I have expandable chuck so it can fit anything from probably 20mm - 2mm drill bits. Nothing heavy duty or anything. I have lots of tools actually. I'm pretty nifty household fixing and building. :)

Look at us two lassies talkin' tools. :d

I love tools. I've asked for and received tools for Christmas!

I scored high on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Test
in high school. The Army tried to recruit me.

    That's awesome!

I did a year for some reason in electronics at school until they pulled the pin for lack of interest and then I had to choose either woodwork or metal work. I chose the metal work because I already knew how to weld a touch from my family. I did that for my final year in high school and I think it was worth a first year apprentice knowledge so if I was a guy and wanted an apprenticeship I could start as a second year apprentice. Seems electrical work and mechanic work would much rather be more helpful for me right now though.

I don't remember the last time I watched any kind of beauty contest...be it Miss America or whatever. Tonight I watched the Miss Universe (on and off) until the end when the last 5 were chosen and then the last 3...

Then Steve Harvey (whom I love and I think is funny as all get out) announced the 2nd runner up and then said "The WINNER and Miss Universe is Miss Colombia"...then the crown was placed on her head, she cried and she waved...and everything was good! THEN Steve's stupid ass said..."I got that wrong. Miss Philippines is the WINNER".

good grief :D Since Steve can read, I really don't understand how in the world that even happened.

The one with the crown who was really the 1st runner up didn't know what to do...the REAL winner didn't know exactly what to do...

Steve was saying "This was my mistake. It wasn't the any of the girl's fault." lol OF COURSE it was your fault, Steve! [IMG] I doubt sincerely anybody in this universe thought it was anybody's "fault" but his for announcing the wrong name.

I bet that is the first time that has ever happened.

Edit: Before he let us know that Miss Philippines was the winner, I already thought she definitely had the best answer, and could think the best on her feet.

Reminds me of when one day I entered a competition at work and my name actually got drawn out and the raffle announcer just kind of paused, then went to the Duty Manager and then they came to me and I said yep that's me :)
I wasn't allowed to win as I was employed there.
