The Irresistible Force Meets The Immovable Object?

What happens when this happens?

Metaphorically speaking, could it be said that this is kind of happening now in the World with all the conflict going on, on so many levels between different ideologies and players with power, and what with the truth being exposed about what a rip off the system is? I mean most everyone knows the score now. What's going to happen?

 

All objects can be moved... You just need a big enough hammer.

 

Does everyone know the score? Doesn't seem to. Maybe does though! Mind will be freed, Earth restored to rightful place in cosmos.

 

Would you identify yourself with the irresistible force or the immovable object? I guess I would be the immovable object because that is the receiver, the less aggressive role.

 

i'm definitely the immovable object right now. only things that would get me out of this chair at the moment would be a fire or a naked woman. and i would strongly encourage the naked woman to come join me, and/or push my chair away from the flames.

 

The answer to this paradox actually took a little time to figure out. The problem is in the sematics. An 'immovable object' and an 'unstoppable force' can't coexist. If a force is truely unstoppable then there is no such thing as an immovable object. Similarly, if there were an object were truly immovable then there is no such thing as an unstoppable force.

Well, actually they could....as the unstoppable force could go around the immovable object or over it.

 

I would be unstoppable force....immovable objects can be very annoying.
