Don't worry about insulting anyone. An insulted individual is one that cannot except the opinions and ideas of another that differ from their own.

Most older tribes and societies were for the most part civilized; except for the ritual sacrifices of some. Then again they new they were to be sacrificed.

The uncivilized stories we read about are the ones where men on boats came and decided to kill of and take the spoils of land for themselves. I would become uncivilized too to protect my home, land and family.

Folks in America seem to have trouble accepting that people from other countries have their own name for "God" of the English language. For example Germans use Gott, The Spaniards use Dios, Muslims use Allah, and so on. I've heard so many times here in the mid-west that people from other countries worship a different God. I've always felt that was a tool tomake it easy for Americans to hate them.

Your examples are all based on the same core religious writings, so they are of course referring to the same god.
Do you feel that Hindus or other non-Abrahamic religion practitioners also worship the same God?
Do you feel the Navajo religion worships/reveres the same God as the Abrahamic religions?

I disagree, NoxiousGas. I don't think there is a connection between Hinduism and the Abrahamic religions, or to the Native American religions. It might be nice to think they have a common core, but I don't see it.
