Same here. I don't like him. Unfortunately...there aren't any candidates who are any better. Further...most of them are much worse. I still don't like him.
Well, this thread is about the intelligence of Republicans. I just looked at your profile and noted where you claim to be a Republican. Sounds like you overlooked something while you was swaggering around this place.
Can we all agree that Trump's handling of the Corona Virus fiasco just stinks? And can we all agree that it was Trump who shut down the federal government office which specialized in handling of such pandemics? I just saw that fat buffoon on TV and he said the sickness was just going to disappear on its own. Can you believe that? It's insanity the likes of which we common folk ain't never seen before: A stupid Fat Republican thinks Corona Virus is just going to disappear.
Well, while someone tried to refute my post I still feel like there are no relevant policies being talked about as they pertain to issues I hold dear: environment, gun control, etc. It feels like anti-environment is the policy. Or anti-gun legislation. As opposed to introducing anything constructive, they instead seem to be picking at the solutions offered by democrats. I could be completely off... It just feels like there can be no remedies to social problems with republicans. And I mean that. I want remedies. How do we fix this? President Donald Trump recently hired a new head of intelligence or something. Ratcliffe. The guy is a staunch loyalist AND has no experience. So what's the priority? What does it look like... loyalist takes priority over experience. So, do you want to go play by play backing the president when all he does is make poor judgments? Tell me something he's done that you agree with.
He's reached out. He reached out far more than Hillary, and won. Another person who reached out is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who totally undermined a lazy politician who was dug in like a tick for years. Both of them understand politics on a practical level that most of the career cronies in Washington lost sight of somewhere between the country clubs and the caviar. We are truly living in an amazing time for this to be happening after decades of rehearsed American politics for only the wealthiest and most elected (new blood not welcome). One of the dumbest things leftists are doing is trying, badly, to throw shade on literally everything Trump does. Have a look at what one of them thinks of his visit to Daytona recently... Stone on Twitter Paul Leigh on Twitter But if you look at any video of the actual event, all you saw was Trump telling the drivers to start their engines to cheering. He also went around the track in the presidential limo, which weighs as much as a Brinks truck, even without Trump's ass in the seat. Some of the other shit on tw!tter has been interesting. Most of it once again disparaging "the south" and making sweeping, bigoted statements about the people in the stands. A lot of them are retirees from the rest of the country, so making fun of them is really really stupid. Of course, I don't think "ALL" democrats are this stupid, that would be bigoted. But, their silence when the shit is this far off the rails, is louder than they realize.
