I never said every White American is conspiring against me. You made that up just like all the rest of your bull shit. You ridicule Democrats and demand others accept your point. The rest of us see that you are a fake and not a Model American at all.
My wife and I grew up in the Midwest and have our share of US horror stories about the American “health care” system. Big power and money hungry corporations and their political lackeys have tried every trick in the book to thwart improvements. On the other hand our niece married a Canadian and has nothing but positive experiences with that system, including some rather major medical issues. Wouldn’t trade passports with us for anything.
She sent me a whole page of nice private letters yesterday. She thinks this is about racism by the Democrats, not the Republicans. She says she looks like Graham Green?
My sister married a man from Belgium and tells us the health care system in the European Union is far superior to that in the USA. They own an old farm house in a small village near Ghent, I think.
As "bad" as Canadian healthcare is at least everyone is covered. In the U.S. we have over 17% or over 27.5 million people with NO insurance at all. ~2 34% of the insured have trouble paying deductibles. 50% report not going for needed healthcare becasue of the cost, 29% report not taking medicine as prescribed due to the cost, and 26% have difficulty paying medical bills. ~ 4 But I posted all that before. It was ignored. I'll re-post it as needed.
No every state endorsed the Obamacare expansion of Medicaid benefits. this is the majority of the 27 million mentioned previously. These States are dominated by Republican politics.
<yawn> All this talk about healthcare bores me insane. I really get tired of hearing folks brag about what other countries have. I had excellent healthcare when I was in a construction union years ago. Same when I was in an aerospace union many years ago. They were pretty much equal. Then I went to a non-union job making forklift frames and had nearly the same insurance. Then obamacare came along and everything turned to liquid $h!t. I refused to sign in for it and still do. When I can get what I had before it may be worth it, but not the current garbage that passes for healthcare. All obamacare did was complicate things and destroy what was, for me and many others at least, a perfectly good system. And best of all, if I wanted something else, I could still get it. Not any more.
The The devil is in the details. Millions upon millions of people had no health insurance and Obama care was a god send for a huge number of people. It wasn’t perfect, is what could be accomplished against the don’t give a shit Republicans, and has been facing an onslaught from Republican governors who want to see it fail. Most of us think everyone in this nation should have health like you do; then for profit insurance companies might be far less efficient and a national health care system better all around. Paying profit for share holders is a dubious capitalist luxury.
Many jobs still provide good healthcare, especially union ones. Obamacare is mainly for those whose workplaces don't provide healthcare. For example, my brother had excellent healthcare while working, but since he's retired he has trouble affording it so he went into the Obamacare market for insurance. He'll stay there until Medicaid kicks in.
True... But, as you know, the alternative would be socialism/communism/slavery...... So fuck those people with no healthcare, it's their own fault.
Yeah, they should'a been born rich and healthy then they wouldn't have these problems. Not thinking ahead.
Fuel is expensive and the tax in general is a shock to Americans. 50% of your wages get taken in some income brackets. Your money is going to a big government that does not allow you to own most guns and says gender is a spectrum. It's not so bad. You can walk or take a train most places and you get to see how funded public services actually work. You don't actually need "your" money because it already bought you something. Very different to the Republican plan of not paying for anything then saying "see we give the government a little money and they waste it so let's not give them any money"
