I dated a Native Metis Canadian woman who was born in Winnipeg and worked as a hospital administrator in Calgary. She said the Canadian health care system is the best in the world. People who are in serious or critical condition would get treatment in minutes. People like one of my uncles who still lives north of Toronto had to wait a few weeks to get non-emergency back surgery. During these weeks where he waited, they gave him enough meds to get him through until his turn came up. My Canadian woman said Canada has the best health care in the world. She said, "The people who bad-mouth Canada's health care system usually turn out to be White Supremacists from America."

 

Me again. You are really going to believe stormmountain? A story like his native girlfriend he never met, or had. Now conveniently he has an uncle here. If this is true, which I highly doubt, no way surgery is booked in two weeks. And since when is back surgery a non emergency? 3 week booking is impossible for non emergency. Completely not true. Min 4 months booking time for surgery here, after months of testing, waiting for results.
Here is how it works.
Go to you gp. He has to refer you to a specialist. Getting in to see the specialist takes months. 4-5 months is common, usually longer. Then you go see him, you are given a requisition for X-rays, blood work, mri. You have to go to another location for that. If you need an mri or ct scan, this has a waiting list, another 6 months to get that done, wait for results, go back to the specialist two months later... he decides the next step. If you need surgery, this needs to be booked. Another 4 months minimum for a bed for non emergency surgery.

 

My condolences.
I have a female friend who went to Britain a couple of years ago, and got sick. She went to a clinic, was treated, and got well. When she went to pay they told her it was free. Governments spend billions of dollars building up their militaries to fight ridiculous wars, but yet don't want to care for their own people

 

My dad had that done too. It was over a two year processs to get the surgery, around 4 now that I think of it. degenerative disc disease.. after surgery a nurse fed him, wasn’t suppose to as he had just come out of surgery. He went into full cardiac arrest.

my friends dad went to the hospital, they tried to give him a ballon thing to open a vein, saying he had a blocked artery. Got stuck... had to be rushed to another hospital by ambulance to get it out. He was billed for the ambulance, never had a blocked artery either.

yes you do and I have been to the USA. Helped an American get on it. It is amazing the system that is there. Far better than the system in place in Canada and yours is a fraction of the cost. We pay 25% of our income to healthcare alone and the wait times and services are far worse than your system with extreme wait times and subpar care. . 66.7% percent of your cheque goes to the government, and the left government here says the people are greedy to refuse to give more when they can, says trudeau. There is a co-pay with Medicaid. I once heard a doctor complain that his people did not want to pay it. So its not free.

 

Right, it is taken off pay cheque’s automatically there, like it is here, here the things covered under socialist medicine has been taken away as well, so an additional privatized healthcare is required. Totally taken off cheque’s there I think is 23 percent? Here it is 66.7%. 25 is for healthcare. The reason why people want to stop paying it is because the money is not used as it was intended. Talk there of the pension going belly up right? When you see a large amount of your check going to the government, you see that about.. you know you are doing it for you and your family, but what is the government doing with all that money they take? Our healthcare is failing. The money they took they have abused. Canada pension they say will not exist as well. So the government wants to increase it for more funds to abuse.
