What's interesting are some of the right actors who claim university degrees are getting to be more useless and more expensive by the day. Obviously that's false on its face, but it does seem like we now have a canyon between the "arts" and the "sciences" (and those awful places where they merge). We can't all lie in the park and contemplate lesbian poetry while a latte is delivered by a drone. But I don't buy the Mike Rowe pitch about getting an HVAC certification and cruising to easy street (let me TELL you about years of inhaling refrigerants) either.

It's obvious we're heading toward a major employment crisis that will ripple through every layer of worker. I'm making more wine these days and I'm thinking about making soap again.

Poli Sci degrees are used to get into government employment, local, state, or federal. Lots of police jobs and town manager jobs require poli sci. You can check with your placement office at your own school. I choose to be a leftist for some serious reasons. I doubt you could get me to convert in to some bumbling Trump follower bigot.
