This goes is a different direction . It is about "loosh " . One of the pioneers of o.b.e. work was Robert Monroe . While Monroe was out o f body he got some info on why life was put on the earth . It was to make loosh , like a farm . As the story goes all living things give off loosh when they die or struggle . I dont completly agree with it , and many people that have read Monroes work dont either . Some things do fit tho . Like pointless suffering and wars . Mans inhumanity toward man . Some loosh links , there are more that are easy to find . http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=loosh http://dhost.info/waterput/random/loosh-perspective.htm http://afterlife-knowledge.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?num=1160433849 http://brontebaxter.wordpress.com/loosh-102-finding-the-forgotten-key/ http://forum.noblerealms.org/viewtopic.php?pid=11543 If loosh is true , it makes God a being that just want to make loosh . desert rat

I assume you do not attend a Christian church.
So by the logic that YOU just postulated, you also adhere to the Christian concept of God and all it's trappings.

So why are you attacking your own belief system?

simple grade school logic problem..........you fail.

    what a doofus

You're right, it is definitely a different direction. If you would like to start a thread on it, I would be interested in participating.

I see I am being ignored. I do notice you are only ignoring those who do not agree with you and openly expose the errors of your argument.

Real good basis for discussion, only converse with those who agree with you.

This dude can't flow... threads go off course, same as conversation. You can only talk about one thing for so long before you've talked all about it.. like now.

I like his sig though, makes me feel special :D

See it's stuff like this that cause me to question your depth of knowledge/education on the topic of religions and religious thought.
Wayne Dyer is not an obscure person to people interested in the area of religious thought.

You may say I'm trolling, but it really does beg the question of your knowledge and the subsequent quality of the ensuing discussion.

I would like to ask, once again, to please keep comments to the point of the thread, if you don't like me, don't like the subject, or whatever, then just stay away. Anyone with an actual desire to discuss a thread I started aren't going to want to get into the middle of a petty argument, and those always start with the trolls who think they are being witty, or cute, or whatever. If you want to have a verbal sparring match, then start a thread for that reason, let me know where you are, and we can have at it, until then, try having some respect for others for a change.

I would, but you're ignoring me. Plus, you'd probably say whatever I come back with is off topic..

On Christanity there were the crusaids , there was also mother Teresa . There are a lot of good Christains that know bad things were done in the name of Chirstanity , in the past . Most reglions have there good and bad parts and people . On loosh I made posts on Pavlina , astral pulse , and there is some posts on astral dynamics http://www.astraldynamics.com.au/showthread.php?9817-Dispelling-the-Loosh-myth&highlight=loosh http://www.stevepavlina.com/forums/spirituality-consciousness-awareness/47510-loosh.html Too few people on this forum would know any thing about it for it to be much of a post . desert rat

    D Rat,

I think I follow you in regards to a god allowing innocent people to suffer at the hands of a religion (in response to the OP) due to the previous acts of those "innocent" people, due to something like negative karma...and I think this is where you are introducing the Loosh thingy.

I can't say I agree at all....but the Loosh concept is interesting. From what I saw on your links, I don't agree with it either, but it's interesting.
Why not start a thread about it?

I was stating 2 very different things . 1 we create our own reality . If some one does suffer at the hands of some one else it is because on some level they agreed to it , and maby there is some karma pay back there also .
2 On loosh , it comes from Robert Monroe and has nothing to do with any Christan teaching . The info given to Monroe was that life on earth was planted hear as a kind of farm to produce loosh . He wrote on it in his secound book and not his third , so maby he dismissed it by that time . I am not sure if I believe in loosh either . I do believe in L.O.A. and creative visualization . There not Christan beliefs , except prayer is really a form of L.O.A. If I did make a post of either L.O.A. or loosh , it would be in the med.-phyical part of this forum . desert rat

The level of acknowledgement? taking the drama literally, and getting hurt.

Supposing he's not talking about physical pain

Edit: Actually, even physical.. it's still drama. Not to say you won't feel it, but you can choose how to respond to it.
E.g.. My mom and I jumped off a moving train once(doors wouldn't open and were about to miss our stop, eventually got em open but it was moving pretty quick by that point.. much to our surprise :p), she ended up breaking her elbow. I was only about 6 or 7 and was balling my eyes out cos I got cut up pretty bad, but she said she didn't even feel it 'til about 5 minutes later once she'd assessed that I was all good.. then she took in the drama of what actually just happened and that there was this red stuff pouring down her arm
