I do not agree with spreading hate, yet I do agree with criticism, we cannot possibly ignore all arguments and pretend to agree on everything.
I agree, but real love can only be appriciated through hate. We must have hate for the balance, nature functions on balances.
True. But it is not the same thing as saying it cannot be transmitted at all. True, but a co-operation founded on love can produce better results, and it can provide emotional support unlike a co-operation not based on love. Since co-operation based on love preceeded co-operation based on rational self-interest, and the tribe came before the corporation, and since plenty of emotional support was required to survive the wilderness, i think co-operation based on love was the basis for civilizations.
I have never seen blind hatered by posters of over a 100 posts on these forums, and I've been on them for over 2 years.
I agree, it can be transmited, yet not through the internet. I agree, it will be better based on live. Yet, I disagree... Self interest made civilizations in the first place, a natural need for survival, not a natural need for love.
yep, but self-interest cannot be counted on to sustain the world. Read "How are we to live: Ethics in an Age of Self-interest" by Peter Singer, it might help clarify the bases for my arguments.
I do not care emotionally, and I am not emotionally affected by this forum. I post here because this is an interesting discussion. It's intellectual interest that is motivating me, nothing else.
If you are looking for an interesting read, read "The Evolution of Love" by Ada Lampert. It describes how maternal love can be the basis for all other forms of love.
No, Hitler just needed someone to blame for the recession, and came up with an idea that the hate driven, depressed public would follow.
True emotinality was not involved in your arguments... but it takes a trugger of emotions to get the intellectual machine running. Without emotions, there is no sense of urgency, and indeed, no deliberation and no purpose. Emotions are as rational as logic itself.
