Good point brother, I wholeheartedly agree. Love must be earned, and this thread is an attempt to bring all of those who have earned our love together, to defend ourselves from those that haven't earned our love yet.

Love is not only precious but Love is fragile, and only a brotherhood, a family can protect it. And this family must grow, and one day encompass everybody.

And you misconstrue the purpose of our organisation.... this organisation is not about attacking people... it is all about defending these forum from flamers.

We are not fighting abuse with abuse, we are using love as our shield against abuse.and indeed, we are creating a family, a brotherhood for those who wish to create that sheild, so that they themselves can fall back upon something when we need they need to. We are creating a support network. That's all.

anybody familiar with the psychology of love will agree that all forms of love whether romantic, sexual or rational use maternal love as a basis. I also believe that this maternal instict can be sublimated to be applied to people outside your family. Heck, that was how civilizations were created.

Now, we are taking this process one step further... by creating an inclusive populist brotherhood based on mutual support.

A kibbutz is another utopic idea. Kibbutzes no longer exist in Israel in thier pure sense because they cannot keep up with society. Flamers are necessary to keep a natural balance. If all was good, then the lower good would be seen as hate, people need hate.

Yep, exactly. Survival was impossible without co-operation, and co-operation was impossible without love. So your argument essentially reduces to mine.

love comes in many forms. There is emotional love and there is rational love.
and rational love can often form the basis for co-operation.

 

I do not think that people are truly capable of loving someone on the forums.
If people here get emotionally disturbed by flamers, then they should get a reality check...

No, co-operation is very possible without love. I may be in a project with several people I care nothing about, but we must cooporate to produce the best result. This has nothing to do with love.
