Brown paper packages tied up with strings

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs

When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things

and then i found out just now from youtube comments that paul williams died a month or so ago....annnnd that he's gonna be in the new daft punk album!

 

Okay, it makes me happy to realize that guy didn't die cause I love that song.

I smiled as soon as I heard the first beat to this.

in a way the video reminds me of the gorillaz.. which also make me smile.

 

the thread about seeing none human wild creatures makes me happy seeing it here.

whenever i don't have to hear the sound of anyone's entertainment, that makes me happy, to be able to hear the sounds of nature and even cars, outside. though i would much rather hear trains and nature, and live were i could more often see trains then cars.

riding trains, trolleys and buses makes me happy. having a pension of sorts so i can have a bus pass so i can come and go on them whenever they're running and wherever i want to go that they do, makes me happy.

being able to post pictures to the internet, to my f.a. account, and having this computer i can make them on as well as connect to the net with makes me happy.

not having to live with people i'm related to makes me happy, although the fact of most of them being dead is kind of neutral.

going to a huge second hand book store makes me happy.
model trains and tools to make things with and making things with them makes me happy.

seeing the imaginative creativity of fursuits and other kinds of unusual costuming make me happy.

seeing imaginative and creatively designed buildings makes me happy.
seeing them surrounded by gardens and forests makes me happy.

non-humans choosing to befriend me makes me happy.
humans too of course, when they're not just pretending to to be annoying.

basically being able to be creative without having to worry too much about anything else, that's to me the best happiest thing of all.

to have my own place and more place to do would be almost the only thing that would make me happier. that and if it were where i could see trains and nature all the time instead of people and cars.

but i don't expect real life to be perfect. i'm endlessly happy for what i now have, and hope to enjoy for as long as i possibly can.

 

My new property in the hill country makes me happy.

 

my new nameless kitten makes me happy. She's tiny, 3 weeks old. Seeing how nice and delicate Sophia is with her makes me happy.

Wasting time on the internet while I'm at work makes me happy. Having Friday and Monday off makes me happy.

Yerba Mate makes me happy.

The coffee machine at work makes me happy, free cappuccinos and chai lattes

I'm usually very content, unless I get into one of my foggy moods.

haha, me too AT, the world could be collapsing around me and if I had a mocha latte in my hand, I wouldn't even notice! Coffee makes me very happy, so does my daughter, especially when she says....Dadda stinky....kids dont lie
