Anyone watching this? Its some quality television Tried a few shows in between the gap that presented itself between the end of TWD and the start of GoT, Dark Matter, Fear the Walking dead, to no avail Except this one, I'm glued, 1984 meets Children of Men Seriously watch this one
I'm watching it. I found it a little too violently horrific in the beginning but I've stuck with it. Maybe they toned it down some or I became desensitized.
I heard about it on some radio station and it sounded like quality stuff: but it is only available on hulu, right?
Err, and bitorrent I have never paid for a tv show, well ever. Im not proud of that, in australia its too frustrating otherwise
I hope this goes the way i want it to go, it would be a very juicy Tv show for about 7 seasons if it does We are I assume a couple years after a worlwide infertility crisis, unbeknownst to people that think they are in charge at the moment, in that situation fertile females the only people that have value, everyone else disposable So to watch all that collapse and the handmaids get their revenge - juicy, I wouldnt mind seeing some resistance fighter sub arcs as well If it swings the other way and turns into Matrix 2 and 3, I'm going to be annoyed
I'm interested to see where they take it a couple of seasons out too The book as source material can only go so far
I even got my mother hooked, which is saying something. She never likes anything even remotely squeamish. I think the show taps into that hidden built up anger at the male of the species
