Seriously this thread started in 2016 and you’re the only person.......
I read the first page and thought maiden, read the last page and thought bingo! Then I checked the thread......
It’s just you and now me that mention THE band.

listen to somewhere in time
Listen to iron maiden (self titled)
Listen to (maybe) seventh son

Oh my oh my.


Sepultura did that album.
Slayer did a few.
Metallica first 5.
And those other guys that did that track.......

it’s nothing compared to Bruce and the boys.

 

Yep Def can't beat Iron Maiden, then they have been around for 40+ years

 

This is all subjective, but of all the 80's metal bands, the only one that stands out (and has stood the test of time) is Iron Maiden. Back when I was younger I thought all those long hair bands were "cool", but now I know better.

 

When I was at School a friend lent me "The Number of the beast" album , up to that point I was listening to chart music, so from then on I was hooked!
My first Gig was The 7th Son tour in Wembley Arena , funny enough that is my Favourite Album! There's alot of great bands out there but still
Iron Maiden keep going Strong!! Up the Irons!!

 

These guys changed everything...

 

Ok--someone----set this old man straight on what Ministry is considered.

 

I consider them industrial metal.
