I need some help, lots of it. I am in the process of creating and mantaining a dam near perfect collection of rock n roll from the late 60's and early 70's (Rock N Roll's peak). So far i have this,

The Rolling Stones-Aftermath, Exile on Main Street, Beggar's Banquet, Sticky Fingers, and Let it Bleed.
Bob Dylan-all his albums from 63-75 skipping a few bad ones
    The Who-Tommy
The Byrds-Sweetheart of the Rodeo, Mr. Tambourine Man
The Doors-The Doors, LA woman, Morrison Hotel
    Iggy Pop-Raw power
    Capt. Beefheart-Trout Mask Replica
    Gram Parsons-GP/Grievous Angel
    Led Zeppelin-1-4
The Beatles-Sgt Peppers, White Album, Abby Road
    Pink Floyd-Dark side, PATGOD
    Neil Young-Harvest

I may be forgetting a few bands, but now i need to know what else do i need to make this complete, so i can brag to all my friends about my music kicking the shit out of thiers

You'll need some Velvet Underground :)
Rephrased...You'll need the first four Underground albums,
    'The Velvet Underground'
    'White Light/White Heat'
    'The Velvet Underground & Nico'
    'Loaded'

More from The Beatles and Pink Floyd (I'm a bit of a completist when it comes to these two, but...) For now, 'Let It Be', 'Magical Mystery Tour' and 'Revolver'. Floyd must haves from this period to me are, 'Animals', 'Atom Heart Mother' and 'Meddle'.

Umm, ah of course! Jimi Hendrix! Never goes a-miss. Big Brother and the Holding Company, Jefferson Airplane, Love. "Forever Changes" is a definate must have.

    Hope that helps you out.

Get Nuggets: Original Artyfacts from the First Psychedelic Era 1965-1968. The Best and most influential compilation of all time.
In 1972, future punker Lenny Kaye and Electra Records president Jac Holzman put together a compilation of various mid-to-late '60s American do-it-yourself rock bands and called it NUGGETS. It was an amazing collection, featuring garage, R&B/blues-rock, early punk, psych, pop, and folk-rock. Rhino's 1998 box set features the entire 1972 collection on disc one and then adds three discs that, while less diverse than the original NUGGETS, are of similarly great historical value. The Standells, The Chocolate Watchband, The Sonics, The Shadows of Knight, The Remains, The Seeds--all names to throw around in garage rock, all represented heavily here. A good deal of national hits, lots of regional hits, lots of non-hits. The distinctive sounds of the Midwest, the Pacific Northwest, and Texas are all here for your enjoyment.
    118 songs on 4cd's
    You need this record!!!

I have Nuggets and both of the VU's first albums. Hendrix i have forgotten, and i think alot of FLoyd's stuff from that era is supbar. Animals is kinda pushing the time frame, i wanted early 70's.
