    Regardless of you favorite, this guy always ends up; in the top 10 of all time. I can only imagine that Great Band in the Sky with the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughn and BB King on guitar. The are now joined by the fantastic and amazing Eddie Van Halen. Another piece of my youth gone forever. Rest Easy my friend and we will keep enjoying the music you left us.

    He truly was epic on guitar! But he IMO didnt focus enough on it. He seemed to want to experiment with keyboards,etc and I didnt like that much! But he was important!

    He started out playing piano when he was a kid, but he really wanted to play drums.
