our dreads look really similar as far as fatty-ness goes. I'm really jealous of the color of yours though.. wish mine were lighter

oh! I'm fighting my wispys too, I just lost one the other daynow it's a little dready stump right in the middle of my fave which I have to keep whipping back.

yeah Lux I dunno how I feel about the stumpies! I have one that is half curled up on itself, looks so weird, but whatever... thank you and you know I love yours too, it's fun to watch yours because they are the same age as mine but diff methods...

wow Im impressed at how fast theyre knotting up! They've made so much progress!

 

well I messed around with the color. dyed my whole head a dark Auburn and then bleached the tips and 4 dreads which I then dyed bright red. dunno bout it yet but here are some pics. bf says maybe the tips are too much... they tend to fade out pretty nice though. we shall see.

Cool. Things like that always seem a bit harsh-looking when you first do them, then everything seems to settle into place and look cooler after a week or so.... so don't decide what you think about it yet

I wrap the dread in foil when I dye segments, the red is WAY too messy otherwise. when I rinsed out it did bleed a little bit into a couple of the blond tips though... it's not that bad but I'm hoping it will fade, or I might put a bit more bleach in if it doesn't.
