  4. Some local media outlets on social media have been predicting a win to the Nasty Party as what @Vladimir Illich calls the tories.
Hoping it's not going to be the case.

You can celebrate a win but what have you won?

As said my hope was for a hung Parliament but I always feared for the worst

And I’m still going to ask what is good about this what benefits do those celebrating this win think they are going to get from it?

Do you look at this crumbling and divided society that the Tories have brought about and think ‘that’s what we want, more of that’

Do those that voted to ‘get Brexit done’ realise that in fact they have voted to make Brexit go on for years and I still have not meet one leavers whose been able to defend leaving in any rational way. As I’ve said leavers seem to want to hurt the country they live in and its people and they don’t seem to care.

Again you can celebrate a win but what have you won?

There are many ways this can pan out but none seem to have beneficial long term outcomes.

Any Brexit will have an adverse effect on the UK’s economy and there is a strong possibility that we might even pull out without a deal which would be even worse.

The Tories especially these Tories are likely to push for a low tax low regulation high privatisation policies that always benefit the already advantaged while adversely effecting anyone else.

Is any of this going to heal the rift in our society, that’s unlikely and its probably going to make things worse?

Again you can celebrate a win but what have you won?

An election with a landslide. That's what was won

Stop trying to divide the country and try to be positive, the furures bright if you switch on the lights. Too much negativity in this country, Boris might well be the man to lead us to greater things if we just give him a chance. I'm no Tory supporter but I am excited by this result.

    James

    What great things?

What do you want the Tories to do?

  16. England are trying to be their own country without realising that they won't have many people living in their country if they go it alone.
But Brexit is something that is ugly and it is causing this to happen.

Food Banks are going to have a greater presence than High Street banks as a result of this election.

The division between the poor and the richer is going to get wider . This is what the election should have been about and not Brexit .

As I’ve already pointed out this will settle nothing - the Tory slogan was ‘Get Brexit Done’ but this wasn’t a Brexit referendum this was a Party Political general election you cannot solve a problem over a single issue plebiscite that involved people on all sides and from every political party with a multi issue party political vote.

So a General election should not have been treated like a yes/no referendum because that is morally dishonest but I don’t think Dominic Cummings or Boris Johnson cares about morals.

Also that slogan again ‘Get Brexit Done’ – this will just be the beginning of Brexit their withdrawal bill is the starting pistol on Brexit not the finishing line, if anything this is just going to prolong the rift that could have been sorted with a non-party political peoples vote just on that issue.

How can people be soooo negative over Brexit without it even happening yet, stop moaning and believing the negative scaremongering and believe in the strength of this great nation. Brexit could be the greatest thing to happen to us in generations, embrace a brighter future.

And if remoaners didn't delay it for so long we could have been halfway to the finish line by now
